ARTHOUSE FATSO sign to Horror Pain Gore Death Productions - "Sycophantic Seizures: A Double Feature" set for release March 8th, pre-orders/single live

Horror Pain Gore Death Productions are set to release the debut album from Germany's cinematic Deathgrinding act Arthouse Fatso"Sycophantic Seizures: A Double Feature"  is up now for pre-order and will be released March 8th on CD and Digital formats along with merch and bundles. Below is the official description:

Nonsense breeds art; art breeds nonsense.

Remember Orson Welles? He´s back! In Grind Form!

Horror Pain Gore Death Productions welcome Arthouse Fatso to the roster with the debut album "Sycophantic Seizures: A Double Feature"! Hailing from Duisburg Germany, Arthouse Fatso began in early 2021 and was originally intended as a quick, low investment project... but soon became the Directors main artistic pursuit. Arthouse Fatso play vicious, experimental Deathgrind fueled by anxiety and a dissatisfaction with capitalism and the current state of cinema. Similar to Orson Welles’ illustrious career, Fatso thrive in the contrast between high and low brow, between the gutter and the art gallery. Deathgrind with industrial influences, neoclassical soloing and an at times funky attitude, Arthouse Fatso might have their tongue planted firmly in their cheek, but you´d be remiss to take this as a joke project. Fatso are violent, intense and can at times be as disturbing as they are humorous – and have no time to stop pummeling. “Sycophantic Seizures: A Double Feature” presents 17 tracks of Deathgrinding Cinephiliac Anxiety for fans of Terrorizer, Full of Hell, 7 H.Target, Macabre and Anaal Nathrakh

ARTHOUSE FATSO
"Endless Trash"

Fierce Justice (Norwegian heavy metal,Oslo,Norway)

Hailing from Oslo, Norway, Fierce Justice adds a fresh voice to heavy metal.

Profoundly influenced by the raw heaviness of 70s blues, and the aggressive riffs of 80s metal, Fierce Justice have crafted an immersive, dark and powerful atmosphere, supported by thoughtful lyrics addressing contemporary and relevant themes. Their latest album, Fireborn, is a testimony to the band’s vision for a brighter future.

Since their formation in 2012, the band has performed numerous concerts, in Norway and abroad, including notable venues such as Rockefeller, John Dee, and Chateau Neuf in Oslo, as well as two rounds of performances at the renowned Whiskey A Go Go in Los Angeles, and three tours in the Canary Islands.

Fierce Justice’s debut album, "Fireborn" catapults listeners into a dark and haunting future.

Rich with powerful lyrics and dynamic soundscapes, this ambitious and thought- provoking album delves into themes of war, resilience, and the indomitable human spirit. It serves as a rallying cry for individuals to rise above the challenges and adversity of the modern world, to preserve their humanity, and ignite a collective movement towards a brighter tomorrow.

Since its inception, Fierce Justice has set their course on bringing the intensity and heaviness reminiscent of 70’s and 80’s metal acts. This palette of multiple influences has given life to songs that range from heavy melodic rock, heart pounding groove, to aggressive speed metal.

Drawing inspiration from the realities of turmoil and strife, "Fireborn" paints a vivid musical landscape that reflects the harsh realities of the grim consequences of war, exploring its devastating impact on humanity and the urgent need for unity in the face of oblivion. Through a blend of haunting melodies and explosive guitar riffs, Fierce Justice captures the essence of the struggle, evoking emotions of turmoil, defiance, and unwavering determination.

More than just a cautionary tale, "Fireborn" serves as a call to action. It ignites the spark within individuals, urging them to unite and reclaim their sovereignty from oppressive forces. The album speaks directly to the masses, instilling a belief that collective action can bring about change. With anthemic choruses and powerful instrumentation, Fierce Justice taps into the primal energy of rebellion, fueling the listener's resolve to shape their own destiny.

"Fireborn" is a testament to Fierce Justice's unwavering commitment to pushing boundaries and delivering music with a purpose. It serves as a rallying cry for those who seek change, reminding them that within the depths of darkness lies the potential for rebirth.

"Fireborn" presents a sonic tapestry that combines elements of prog and speed metal, with a touch of hard rock, creating an immersive experience that resonates with fans of various heavy musical backgrounds.

“Fireborn" is available now on CD and digital streaming.

DISHUMANIZED - Austrian thrash/death metal

Dishumanized is a solo project of Harald Berger.

After his first steps as a drummer and singer, he switched to guitar and joined the death metal band Diabolic Voices in 2000. After the singer left the band, he also took over the vocal duties. They recorded the demo "Screams of Anger" in 2003. After a few line-up changes, the band's style shifted towards a more Thrashmetal influenced sound, and they changed their name to Zerofour in 2004.

They recorded the EP "Only Time" (2005) and the two albums "The Desert of Reality" (2006) and "The Downfal of Humanity" (2008). For the "Downfall" album, Harald has written a whole concept about the decline of humanity through wars, false religious beliefs and dehumanization through technocracy. This album received very positive reviews in Austrian and German metal magazines, and laid the foundations for the Dishumanized project.

In 2009 he left Zerofour to concentrate fully on his new band Deathplagued, which he had founded in 2008. Unfortunately, the band broke up in 2011 after releasing only one album ("Beyond" 2009).

Frustrated by all the drama and line-up problems that happen in a band, he founded his solo project Dishumanized in 2017, where he plays and programs all the instruments himself to realize his vision. The musical direction is mainly influenced by thrash and death metal, but Harald's love for bands like Iron Maiden, Pink Floyd and even Rammstein can also be heard. After some singles, the debut album "The Maze of Solitude" was released in 2023. In the future, Harald would like to bring the Dishumanized project to the stage with live members and produce further albums with the help of guest musicians.

What does the whole Dishumanized project stand for?

The entire concept is critically directed against the dehumanization of humanity through brainwashing by mass-media and religious institutions, and the creeping dependence on technology. We live in a society that has made itself a slave to technology. One (un)word we have been hearing more and more often recently is "optimization". Technologies of all kinds are supposed to make our tedious everyday lives easier. Of course machines are helpful - to a certain extent! But if at some point all activities are taken over by programs and robots, humans will become obsolete. Smartphone addiction has also reached a sad peak. While zombies used to be considered pure fiction, they are now a sad reality. The invasion of cell phone zombies has long since begun. In the past, young children had to be told to look left and right when crossing the road. Today, so-called "smombies" of all ages roam the streets without a second thought. Does this mean that the principle of trust has been abolished for them too? Of course, technology and progress are helpful and important to a certain extent. But I'm not talking about the technology itself, I'm talking about the people who can't use it. As we all sadly know, people have often misused technology that was originally developed with a clear conscience to create something terrible!

OLATHIA - Power/Thrash/Heavy from Cleveland/USA

 OLATHIA (oh-LAY-thee-ah) Melodic/Power/ Thrash Metal.

Hailing from Cleveland, OH, Olathia (oh-lay-thee-ah) is a four-piece Heavy Metal

band. The music is a blend of traditional Heavy Metal, Power Metal, and Thrash

influences, creating a melodic and powerful sound. Often described as "Power

Thrash," they meld together catchy melodies, heart stopping rhythms and bone

crunching chords while telling stories of dark and light themes.

A crowd Favorite in Cleveland and named a band to watch by Scene Magazine,

Olathia embodies the heart and passion that defined 1980s Heavy Metal, while

pushing the genre's boundaries into exciting new territories by blending classic

influences from both sides of the Atlantic. They draw inspiration from iconic acts

such as Metallica, Ozzy Osbourne, Iron Maiden, Exodus, Pantera, Heart, Sinergy,

Warlock, and Dio.

But what makes them stand out like a blazing comet in this wild rock-and-roll

universe? It’s their fearless frontwoman, Chris E. Her voice, a molten fusion of

strength and finesse. She capturing the emotional essence of their songs while

also letting the raw power hurt so good.

But hold onto your leather jackets, because the rest of this crew isn't here to

play nice. Bassist, Terry “Bull” Johnson, lays down thunderous grooves while

unleashes a menacing vocal barrage. Miss his stage antics, and you'll regret it for

life. Drummer, Joe Lowry, the mastermind behind the kit, with beats that are

precision incarnate, each strike packing enough punch to propel you into another

dimension. Venturing further into the lineup, guitar virtuoso, Dylan Andras, is

armed with lightning-quick fingers. He doesn't just play riffs; he hammers them

into your brain, and when those solos start, prepare to be incinerated in a

firestorm of shredding madness.

When Olathia hits the stage, it's not just a concert; it's a damn rock-and-roll

revolution. If Heavy Metal runs through your veins, don’t miss your chance to

witness this sonic storm for yourself.

French metal band The Hill Is Burning release new album “From Alpha To Omega”

 Band A.jpg

“From Alpha To Omega” is the second album by The Hill Is Burning, Metal Band from Reunion Island! This album transports you into the different worlds of Death/Thrash metal!
The band goes from the fast and brutal "Worms", through the atmospheric "Tank In a Forest", to the melodic "The Dreamer", if you like big distortion guitars, rumbling double bass drums, and angry vocals, you will appreciate the new album of The Hill Is Burning, produced by Chris Clancy, at audioworks production,England.

Watch the video "The Dreamer": https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sgpl7ey3-iA

The Band
Influenced by Sepultura, Nevermore, Coroner, Neurosis and Gojira, the group The Hill is Burning was born in November 2015, at the initiative of Cédric Quéré,Vocal/guitar. The Hill Is Burning's first album, "Last Bullet", was released on digital platforms in March 2020. But the shadow of Covid 19 hanging over the music industry is jeopardizing this long- awaited release.

The Hill Is Burning begins the year 2022 with the creation of new compositions: more direct songs, textures and a different sound universe, marked by new effects. Following this compositional work and in a moment of madness, the group ventured to contact Colin Richardson, the producer of... Machine Head (“Burn my eyes”, that’s him!), Slipknot, Sepultura, Carcass or even Napalm Death.

Ten tracks were recorded in Reunion Island and sent to England to be fully mixed and mastered at Audioworks Studio. The first single, “The Dreamer” was released on March 24, 2023, and has been ranked in the top 10 of South American Rock radio stations for more than 3 months.

Sol Negate Unveils “A Mind That Bleeds” Lyric Video

Sol Negate, the brainchild of composer and guitarist Edoardo Curatolo, is thrilled to present the lyric video for the track “A Mind That Bleeds”. The song is a standout from their concept album “On the Verge of Dreaming Again”, which is set to be re-released on March 8, 2024, via Wormholedeath.

"A Mind That Bleeds” takes listeners on a profound journey into the heart of human existence. The lyrics pose the timeless question, “Who am I?” and delve into the complexities of self-identity within societal constructs. The track is a testament to Sol Negate’s ability to blend symphonic elements with progressive death metal, creating a unique soundscape that is both intense and thought-provoking.

This captivating piece can be experienced on YouTube:

Sol Negate, a symphonic progressive death metal band formed by Edoardo Curatolo in Seattle, combines classical composition with modern instruments, influenced by progressive rock/metal, classical music, and extreme metal. Their music is both symphonic and heavy, departing from traditional structures, and aiming to create a unique musical experience. In 2023, their debut album "On the Verge of Dreaming Again" challenged the boundaries of progressive death metal, featuring contributions from drummer Sebastian Lanser and vocalist Riley McShane.

“On the Verge of Dreaming Again” is a concept album about death and dreams. It is the journey your mind takes as you die, reliving moments of the life you had flashing through your mind's eye, and how you experience that fall into death. Each track moves over time, how innocuous experiences can mark and combine, how your perception of events can haunt you, and how one may reflect upon that at the moment of death.
It was made to be experienced from front to back, late in the evening, with some headphones... I hope it can provide a personal experience that grows with each listen.
Edoardo composed, recorded, and produced everything other than drums and vocals; the band worked with Sebastian Lanser (Obsidious, ex-Obscura) for drums, Riley McShane for vocals (Continuum, ex-Allegaeon), and the great Stefano Morabito at 16th Cellar Studio for mixing/mastering.
