Loud As Hell Festival has launched its early bird tickets for its 2024 edition being held from August 2nd to 4th at the Dinosaur Downs Stampede Grounds in Drumheller, AB.
Festival goers can secure their early bird tickets now for just $140 CAD each. Take advantage of this early bird pricing because once LAH announces its 2024 lineup, the price will increase to $175 CAD per weekend pass. Head over to their webpage www.loudashell.ca and fill out our ticket form. You will then receive the proper information to purchase your ticket(s). Children 12 and under are free when accompanied by an adult.

Roaring into the Alberta badlands where the Dinosaurs once roamed, the annual gathering of metalheads from across Canada and beyond will be celebrating its 12th year of decibel-breaking music in 2024. Since its inception in 2012, LOUD AS HELL has exposed hundreds of Canadian and international bands annually with the exception of 2020 due to the Covid pandemic. Their 2023 edition was host to the most stacked lineup to date featuring JUNGLE ROT, NARCOTIC WASTELAND, INCITE, NECRONOMICON, THE CONVALESCENCE, and lots more. Previous years have witnessed well-known bands such as Into Eternity, Goatwhore, Battlecross, Fit for An Autopsy, Anciients, Archspire, Unleash The Archers, Striker, KEN mode, Obey The Brave, Protest the Hero, AngelMaker, Divinity, Neck of The Woods, Endast among many more.

Brisbane rock outfit Sound Affliction have emerged from the shadows, bringing with them a range of heavy, melodic riffs laced with driving beats and deeply emotive lyrics. While the name Sound Affliction might not sound familiar – yet – the pedigree of musicians that make up the band belies their relative youth. Frontman Matty (Scandal Tree & Don’t Come Monday) is a dominant presence on vocals, with an alluring and captivating vocal range that will have you screaming in unison one moment and swept up in majesty the next. Slaying on guitars are Dan (Black Whiskey) and Wayne (Scandal Tree, Cactus Dill Dos), a dual-edged harmonious sword that elevates your sonic being from shredding riffage and urgency to tempered beauty often within the one track. Their ability to structure a song and draw out a life force of their own forms the nucleus of a rock-drenched sound that almost dares you to resist. Taliesin : Disciple Independent 6 October 2023
Canberra prog-metal outfit Taliesin have unleashed the new album Disciple as of today, Friday October 6th.
Disciple picks up where their previous album, Faceless left off by continuing the exploration of the darker aspects of humanity, however the band states that Disciple is heavier and more progressive than its predecessor.
This new offering features nine tracks laced with dark and mesmerizing lyrical content and technical yet atmospheric musical composition sure to please any prog fan.
“Disciple is pretty dark lyrically, and heavier than previous Taliesin releases. Musically it is also a little more adventurous, with the band adding new elements to their existing core sound.”
