“Fixated”

Escape the Paradigm presents
'Fixated'

Escape the Paradigm was formed in late 2013 by brothers Brandon Brodzinski and Johnathan Rockwood with Donny Hoover III. The trio met after previous bands each member were in went on permanent hiatus. Each member of ETP brings their own unique sound and musical background to the band. Having plenty of live performance and studio experience both together and previously, ETP has become a truly polished sounding band, despite only having 3 members.

The band has 1 full-length studio album (Mistaken - 2018) and has released 4 singles since the start of the pandemic (New Beginnings - 2020, RISE - 2020, Breaking Chains - 2021, Sign Of Life - 2021).

On May 12th, 2023, the band released their sophomore album titled We All Fall Down. The band would then go on to sign with Curtain Call Records in the same month.

ETP has shared the stage with several national acts such as Eva Under Fire, Gemini Syndrome, Tantric, Soil, Another Lost Year, 3 Years Hollow, Eye Empire, Open Your Eyes, Kirra and many more. The band also opened for All That Remains, Toothgrinder and Gears in fall 2018 on their first national tour. ETP would play several dates starting in KY and going through IL, MO, TX, NC, VA and WV during this tour.

Escape the Paradigm makes music that is meant to speak to the listener, and comfort those in need of some kind of help. Brandon Brodzinski (Vocals/Guitar) said:

“Music has helped me in several moments in my life. It’s saved me when nothing else could, and I owe music a debt I can not pay. If my music can do that for even just one other person, then I have successfully paid it forward. That’s the real goal.”

Brandon Brodzinski: Vocals/Guitar
Johnathan Rockwood: Drums
Donny Hoover III: Bass

January 19, 2024 sees Swedish melodic power metal band METALITE unleash their most gigantic album to date! Expedition One, that tells the fictitious story about life on our planet in the year 2055, will be released via AFM Records; the pre-sale is available at: https://bfan.link/expedition-one

Following previously-released album appetizers such as "Disciples Of The Stars", "Blazing Skies" and "New Generation", today, METALITE are premiering a lyric video for their new single "Aurora"!

"In the symphony of the cosmos, our song 'Aurora' seeks to dignify the celestial phenomena that illuminate the darkest corners of the north," the band comments. "Like the Northern Lights, we weave a tapestry of classic Metalite style, infusing it with swirling energy and daring to explore new elements. Embrace the luminous journey as we celebrate the cosmic dance that brings light to even the most shadowed realms.”

"Aurora" is now available on all digital streaming services at

https://metalite.bfan.link/aurora, the lyric video is streaming here:

Expedition One inspires with a wide range of diverse compositions and an intelligent sci-fi story that couldn’t be more topical. In addition, their fourth album offering manifests the musicians’ amazing artistic development. METALITE's visionary sci-fi trip is told over sixteen multi-faceted songs that combine the quintet’s many strengths: powerful and at the same time delicate guitar riffs and solos, anthemic melodies courtesy of vocalist Erica Ohlsson, driving rhythms and cleverly positioned keyboard parts. Expedition One was produced by guitarist Edwin Premberg, and was mixed and mastered by Jacob Hansen.

LYRICS

A chaos inside me
A mess, voices collide
Just listen, this soulstorm
An exit hard to find

I'm fearing the shadows
Silence of sleepless nights
Adrifting, no anchor
Dancing on the edge of time
Me to find

All colours blinding bright
Kaleidoscope is turning 'round
Day and night
A captive of my restless mind

The moments of silence
Stillness of an empty room
Then haunted by whispers
Lost at the edge of time
Me to find

All colours blinding bright
Kaleidoscope is turning 'round
Day and night
A captive of my restless mind

JUDICATOR Shares Blind Guardian Cover “The Curse of Feanor” Off “I Am The Void” EP Out Dec 8th

Hailing from Salt Lake City, USA, Judicator is a denim and leather-clad power metal act that will blow your hair back and excite your loins with its fervent riffs, wailing solos, and powerful vocals. Since their inception many years ago they have released six albums already and an EP “I Am The Void” is on the horizon. The EP features two heart-pounding tracks over 15 minutes that pack a punch. The song "The Curse of Feanor,” is a Blind Guardian cover as the band explains:

“Regarding “The Curse of Feanor,” this is a song that our Patreon supporters voted on. The cover has been available to them for some time now, and we chose to release it to the public alongside “I am the Void.”. There isn’t anything especially groundbreaking or innovative about the cover, but it’s a nice break from the emotional heaviness of “I am the Void.” It’s good to conclude the EP with a cavalry charge like this.”

In 2010, John Yelland and Alicia Cordisco met at a Blind Guardian concert. The two developed a friendship and formed Judicator two years later. Prior to Cordisco’s departure from the band, Yelland would write all the lyrics and Cordisco would write all the music.

Since 2022’s ‘The Majesty of Decay,’ however, Yelland has become the band’s primary songwriter and lyricist. Mostly focused on historical topics, Judicator takes a look at everything from Napoleon Bonaparte to the renowned Byzantine general Belisarius. They don’t shy away from heavy topics though, exemplified by the rollercoaster title track on this EP.

Judicator brings raw energy and enthusiasm to the stage. Through their performances, the band conjures imagery of both ancient battles and inner turmoil. They are recommended for fans of Scanner, Iron Savior, and Helion Prime.

“I Am The Void” is due out on December 8th, 2023, and is available for pre-order at https://judicatormetal.bandcamp.com/ and digital pre-save at https://distrokid.com/hyperfollow/judicator/i-am-the-void.

"The Majesty of Decay is simply one of the best power metal albums released in the last few years, and potentially, my favorite Judicator yet." - Angry Metal Guy

"This album is guaranteed that fans of Judicator will be talking about it for years to come. There are those which will utterly hate this album as a release that has gone too far in one direction. However, this is a gamble which has paid off and ‘The Majesty of Decay’ is not only arguably one of the best albums released this year, but also debatably the best album that Judicator have ever released." - Metal Digest

“[Judicator is] unmatched when it comes to delivering an illuminating experience that is both energized and heartfelt.” — GBHBL

“Judicator is something new, but still something excellent. And we sing along, with open shirts and fists pointing to the sky.” — Devilution

CORVUS - Immortals ( Pride & Joy Music Release: 19 January 2024 )

When Corvus announced their arrival with debut album ‘Chasing Miracles’ back in 2015, they did so with a distinctive blend of passion, introspection and anthemic energy leaving an indelible mark on hearts and souls alike.

‘Chasing Miracles’ earned critical acclaim and a devoted fanbase with live shows that were synonymous with electrifying performances leaving audiences hungry for more. The album’s theme of fleeting moments with romance and the pursuit of the unattainable resonated with listeners, solidifying Corvus’ position in the melodic rock scene.

In the years following their debut, Corvus embarked on an exploration of musical boundaries and appeared on many prestigious live performances. Their evolution is a testament to their commitment to growth and innovation, refusing to be confined by genre limitations.

Formed in the heart of the UK in 2012, the band’s journey has been a tale of artistic evolution, culminating in the eagerly anticipated forthcoming album, ‘Immortals’, set to grace the airwaves in January 2024.

‘Immortals’ is a thematic exploration of mortality and eternity while remaining faithful to the bands established feel-good spirit. The record speaks of personal transformation and emotional depth that bridges the past and present and continues to captivate their melodic fusion of raw energy and poetic lyricism.

The album’s creation was a labour of love and dedication, fuelled by the band’s unwavering bond and shared vision. With a UK tour slated for the months following the album’s release, Corvus are set to captivate audiences once again, delivering performances that charm the core of human emotion.
