KINGS AND LIARS Sign with Salt Of The Earth Records

SALT OF THE EARTH RECORDS is proud to announce the signing of Connecticut based hard rock juggernaut, KINGS AND LIARS.

Comprised of brothers, Charlie (vocals/guitars) and Nick Bellmore (drums/vocals) as well as Christopher Tayler Beaudette (vocals/bass) This album sees a more streamlined band returning to the spotlight as a three piece, hell bent on delivering some heavy as all hell, well crafted, catchy songs.

The members of KINGS AND LIARS share international notoriety as members of some severely ass kicking bands... Kingdom Of Sorrow, The Dee Snider Band, Jasta, Entierro, and Toxic Holocaust to name a few.

KINGS AND LIARS drummer, Nick, is an uber producer who has been at the helm of many many kick ass releases. When great artists want to up the heavy, they call these guys.

“When we started KINGS and LIARS we had a few goals - write serious riffs, have amazing choruses, focus on great harmonies, and be able to do it all live," said KINGS AND LIARS bassist/vocalist Christopher Taylor Beaudette. "With this album we have definitely reached our goals sound wise, and we really can’t wait to bring this album on the road, and bring our performances to new levels.”

Guitarist/vocalist Charlie Bellmore comments on singing with Salt Of The Earth Records: “It feels like We've found a kindred spirit in Salt Of The Earth Records. And we have absolute trust that our new friends at the label will be the hardest workers in the room. They are going to bust ass to get our music into the ears and hands of heavy riff lovers everywhere. That’s what KINGS AND LIARS is all about. We want to get our music to everyone who has ever wanted to hear it.”

Salt Of The Earth Records founder Scott Harrington had this to say about his newest acquisition, "To say I am amped about having KINGS AND LIARS on Salt Of The Earth Records is an enormous understatement. When I heard these songs I damn near dropped. Seriously, Charlie writes epic riffs, and this band floors me. Just wait till you hear this!”

KINGS AND LIARS will release their first album on Salt Of The Earth Records this winter. In July, the band released a single titled "We Are Alive." Stream the song at this location.

SUMMONER'S CIRCLE Conjure Lovecraftian Cosmic Horror With “Apostasy” Off “Chaos Vector”

Summoner’s Circle Conjure Lovecraftian Cosmic Horror With “Apostasy” Off “Chaos Vector”

Video Premiere via TheCirclePit

New Album “Chaos Vector” Out Now! via Blood Blast Distribution

The third single from Knoxville, USA’s Summoner's Circle is “Apostasy”, which the music video for is out now via The Circle Pit - https://youtu.be/za4n_NQ33ig

“Apostasy” has a misleading, pretty opening that soon gives way to one of the heaviest offerings off the band's new album “Chaos Vector” released this past August via Blood Blast Distribution. This song contains a lot of prog influences with a crushing verse and chorus and a grand keyboard solo during the bridge.

“Chaos Vector” is a concept album that takes great inspiration from Lovecraftian cosmic horror and the single, lyrically, is about the main character having doubts about his occult works as he is forced to sacrifice a pregnant woman bound to an inverted cross. Thus, opening a portal to another dimension and calling forth a beast from the void that rips itself from the woman’s womb and becomes The King In Yellow. The band continues to explain the song:

““Apostasy'' was one of the last songs to come together for the album. It’s an incredibly fun song to play and has possibly the most disturbing lyrical content on the album. This song is about that moment of realizing you’ve gone way too deep into the unknown and the only way out is to become an Apostate. Unfortunately for the character in the story, it is too late, and his human sacrifice gives way to a cosmic horror known as The King in Yellow. We enjoy throwing little bits of real Lovecraftian horror into the story and The King in Yellow is our nod to that.”

The band feels that “Chaos Vector” is the strongest material they’ve written to date, leaving behind much of the early doom origins for a much more mature sound that is uniquely that of Summoner’s Circle. This album is the culmination of ever-growing musicianship, new blood, old blood, staying true to their tastes, and growing with new experiences and goals.

Summoner's Circle started partly to fill the void in the East Tennessee area in which there were no costumed bands. It was difficult to find members who had proven themselves in other projects and had the drive to succeed. It was not impossible as a lineup was pieced together and they decided on an occult and H.P. Lovecraft theme with a touch of nerdy humor that reflects in their live personas.

Dark, haunting, beautiful, and heavy Summoner’s Circle set out to take the listener on a cosmic horror journey as if they are reading a Lovecraft story with your ears. Their music is recommended for fans of Opeth, Tribulation and Dimmu Borgir.

“Chaos Vector” was released on August 27th via Blood Blast Distribution and available on all major digital platforms at the following link: https://backl.ink/145841454

About:
"Let the Summoning Begin..."
Summoner's Circle is a six-piece theatrical metal band that blends elements of doom, death, black and progressive metal into what they refer to as simply Epic Metal.

For the band, every song in an incantation, every live performance is a Summoning, and everything they do is tied intrinsically to the mythology, or lore, they have created. The lore tells the story of the band's origins, battles of divine conquest and showcases their creativity and vision, which sets the stage for a very entertaining live performance where bigger is better, and Epic is always the standard.

The Summoners released their first EP, entitled First Summoning, in late 2015. This was followed in 2016 by the single, Become None, and its B-side, Minotaur, both of which are included on their debut full-length release entitled Tome, which was released in June of 2018.

In May of 2019, Tome was repackaged and released as Become None via the Pavement Entertainment label.

In the spring of 2019, Summoner's Circle joined Children of Bodom, Swallow the Sun and Wolfheart as part of Bodom's Hexed North American Tour, gaining many new fans and excellent reviews.

In June of 2019, the Six signed a worldwide management deal with Extreme Management Group, Inc. who also manages Suffocation, Cattle Decapitation, Misery Index and many others.

Summoner's Circle’s second full-length album Chaos Vector is scheduled to be released in 2021 and will be accompanied by a Lovecraft-style cosmic horror short story written by the band. Each song is a chapter in the story.

THIRTY FATES To Release Album "Circus Black" + Streaming First Single

Rockshots Records - Greek Heavy Metal THIRTY FATES To Release Album "Circus Black"

Streaming Single "Just For A Little"

"Circus Black" Out December 10th

Rockshots Records announce they will be releasing Greece's Thirty Fates' new album "Circus Black" on December 10th, 2021. The upcoming full-length is a 9 track anniversary record to celebrate the trio consisting of brothers Elias and Nick Tzintzilonis and Stelios Papakostas thirty years in heavy metal as friends and bandmates.

The trio's history begins in 1988 when they introduced themselves to the world in a band named Metal Invaders, which was soon changed to Black Fate. Under that moniker, they released a 4-track demo (1991), but soon after Elias (guitars) continued on to other various bands. Stelios (vocals) went on to a solo pop career releasing singles and touring all around Greece, along with forming the band Blow. Nick (drums) went on to other rock-heavy-pop bands, touring also as a freelancer and continuing on with Black Fate with four amazing musicians, where they released a self-titled EP (2001) and four full-lengths "Uncover" (2002) (Secret Port Records), "Deliverance of Soul" (2009) (Asiral), Between Visions & Lies (2014) (Ulterium Records) and "Ithaca" (2020) (Rockshots Records).

The trio of Thirty Fates explain how their reunion came to be:

"We felt the need to reform the band after so long time for our thirst of playing music together again. It came out spontaneously when we met each other five years ago, rehearsing the old staff reminiscing the good old times. Then we decided to re-record our first demo and some spare old songs, as we had all the efforts for making a record come to life. Seemed from the beginning we knew what exactly we wanted to do. Making music after so long, was a joyful ride from the past to the present & we really enjoyed it. For all our friends & loyal fans, who have followed for thirty years & also for our new friends. We hope you enjoy our music. It’s worth a listen."

"Circus Black" is nine tracks of classic melodic heavy metal, with four tracks (Indifferent People, The Edge of Destiny, Be Free, The Pretender) from their 1991 demo, two unreleased tracks from the ’80s, and three tracks from Black Fate's 2001’s rare ep along with a brand-new song. The album is for those who truly enjoy 80's classic heavy metal in the vein of Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Queensryche, Dio, and Ozzy Osbourne.

"This did not happen on purpose, but if you follow the track listing, it'll feel like a concept album. From the circus visual till the last song, it represents the simple human needs, the ways someone searching himself, how intensifies himself in the society trying to find substance. For sure this belongs to the metal community." adds the band.

Today, in preview to the album's release, Thirty Fates are sharing their first single "Just For A Little", a radio-friendly mid-tempo metal track with heavy guitar riffs, focused drum and bass that is complemented with melodic vocals.

"This is a song of hope, even if you are broken there is always something that will resurrect you, the only thing is to believe in yourself." - Thirty Fates

Out soon! Morgoth - "Ungod" (reissue)

Morgoth_-_Ungod-cover
Listen "Ungod"

Label: MDD Records
Release: 24 September 2021

The beginning of the 90s was the moment when death metal came to light and started its triumphal procession in the hard metal spectrum. A flagship of this era is the German Morgoth, who wrote Death Metal history with their first two albums. Following the spirit of the times as the 90s progressed, the band changed stylistically, which did not meet with the approval of their fans, despite musically high-quality albums. From today's point of view, the band disappeared from the scene with their album "Feel Sorry For The Fanatic" in 1998. In 2012, Morgoth briefly returned to the limelight for various live activities until original singer Marc Grewe, undoubtedly also the band's figurehead, left.

From the fans' point of view, this gap could not be filled with Disbelief singer Carsten Jäger, which is why the band soon disappeared from the scene again - and with it the 2015 album "Ungod", which at that time was the first album after 20 years.

Musically, not listening to "Ungod" is an outrage! That's why MDD has dug up this highlight of a death metal album again, because we are sure, from today's point of view, the view on this album will be different. The opener alone, "House Of Blood", is a hymn of the century without equal, and the album doesn't get any weaker in the further course either. "Ungod" is therefore justifiably a gem of the forefathers of German death metal history.

MALIGNAMENT stream PRIMITIVE REACTION debut at Black Metal Promotion

Today, uprising Finnish black metallers Malignament stream the entirety of their highly anticipated debut album, Hypocrisis Absolution, at the Black Metal Promotion YouTube channel. Set for international release on September 24th via Primitive Reaction, hear Malignament's Hypocrisis Absolution in its entirety exclusively HERE.

It was but the autumn of 2019 when Malignament burst from the void with a shockingly developed debut demo. Although bearing just a couple tracks, the sheer songwriting prowess and furious, full-throttle execution proved that Malignament was already a name worth reckoning in Finland's elite black metal scene.

However, if that demo was an all-too-swift taste of Malignament's already-powerful potential, then Hypocrisis Absolution storms the gates with utter abandon. Just like its short-length predecessor, the duo's debut album no doubt bears some/many traits for which Finnish black metal is known/renown, but here do Malignament maximize the muscularity they flexed on that demo whilst somehow becoming more atmospheric. And whereas so much Finnish black metal focuses on freezing fire, Malignament's iteration is overtly triumphant and daresay warmer - molten, even, like a sword drawn forth from a forge. Elsewhere, the duo staunchly stick to their guns (or, rather, swords) and utilize their dizzying, mesmerizing melodicism to its fullest effect, poignantly pushing each of these eight songs into the halls of greatness, underpinned by a roiling 'n' robust soundfield that's somehow simultaneously ethereal. Above all, Malignament wisely understand the fundamentals of black metal and reside there - and there alone - never varying in their dedication or sidestepping into diluting waters. Hypocrisis Absolution is stark proof of pure and proud traditionalism done with reverence and defiance.

Wise ways from young hands, Malignament are prepared to offer Hypocrisis Absolution: surrender, or fall beneath their blade!
