REDENCIÓN NUEVO EP DERROTA Y DESTINO Y PRIMERAS FECHAS MURCIA, MADRID.

Sipnosis Derrota y destino es un EP que costa de cuatro temas en los que la banda Redención continua con su sonido a medio camino entre el metal moderno y el clásico, con potencia, pero con estribillos pegadizos. *Tu héroe interior. *Derrota. *La Marca.  *El pozo de los mortales. Como en su anterior trabajo "Abruptum", han contado con la producción de Carlos Escobedo (Sôber) y se ha grabado y mezclado en los estudios Cube  por la mano de Alberto Seara. En esta ocasión el máster ha sido a cargo de Dave Donnely (EEUU), ingeniero de sonido que ha trabajado entre muchos otros con Aerosmith, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Miley Cyrus, Chicago, Slash, Motley Crüe, etc.

	BIO DE LA BANDA. Redención es una banda que se formada en 2015 en Aranjuez (Madrid), por Sergio Gómez (Guitarra) y Jason Simmons, (Batería) tras conocerse por sus antiguas bandas, ya sin actividad, deciden hacer el proyecto Redención, buscando un sonido medio entre un metal duro y hard rock melódico. Poco tiempo después, se incorpora al proyecto David Peñalver (Peña) a la voz, dotando a la banda de un carácter y estilo propio, aportando un espectro musical más amplio. Javier Díaz se une a la formación algo más tarde (bajo) dando ya la contundencia que necesitaba el grupo. La formación entra a graba su primera maqueta en 2016. El profesor de guitarra de Sergio, el guitarrista Manuel Seoane, le pide material al grupo y les ofrece la oportunidad de producir su primer disco de Redención. La banda acepta y se pone manos a la obra para componer los temas que faltan y así hacer un álbum completo. Meses después se mete en los Estudios M20 a grabar Zero, su primer disco que la discográfica Avispa Records se encargará de editar y distribuir. Tras la masterización del disco, la banda decide incorporar un nuevo guitarrista para así aumentar el potencial del grupo. A principios de diciembre de 2017 se une Alex Posilio para completar la formación. A partir de ahí la banda comienza a trabajar con la agencia de management Charo Martín Cimarock y principios de 2018 con la colaboración de la agencia Don Padrino arranca su primera gira presentando el disco Zero compartiendo escenario con Infernale y Juan Saurín. La Gira les abre las puertas de distintas ciudades de la geografía española ganándose con su carisma y profesionalidad a numeroso público y compañeros de profesión lo que les ha permitido tocar con bandas de renombre tanto nacionales o como internacionales (Sparzanza, AmigOz, Sherpa (Ex Barón Rojo) Antes de terminar su primera gira comienzan a trabajar en un segundo disco, lo que los llevara a trabajar con Carlos Escobedo (Sôber) en Estudios Cube para la producción, grabación y masterización de su nuevo trabajo. Así surge ABRUPTUM, su segundo trabajo de estudio, que salió a la luz en noviembre de 2019 de la mano de Maldito Records. Después la pandemia sufrida en 2020 y quedarse la gira de ABRUPTUM totalmente paralizada, la banda decide grabar un EP de cuatro canciones y como en el anterior disco vuelve a confiar en el gran trabajo de Carlos Escobedo, para su producción, grabación y mezcla en Estudios Cube (Madrid) la masterización estuvo a cargo de Dave Donnelly en Los Ángeles (EEUU) En estos momentos, la banda da un paso más en su trayectoria musical, en el cuentan con el apoyo Duque Producciones una de las más reconocidas agencias de representación artísticas españolas, con la finalidad de tomar ese impulso que los llevará a mostrar todo su potencial al gran público, presentando el nuevo EP, DERROTA Y DESTINO, así como ABRUPTUM en diversos conciertos de los cuales os iremos informando. SORGUINAZIA premiere new track at MetalBite.com

Today, warp-world black metal barbarians Sorguinazia premiere the new track "The Negation of Delirium" at heavily trafficked web-portal MetalBite.com. The track is the second to be revealed from the band's highly anticipated debut album, Negation of Delirium, set for international release on October 15th via Iron Bonehead Productions. In 2016, out of the void inconspicuously tumbled a vortex of dread decibels. Bearing the moniker Sorguinazia, the power-duo's first recorded work was a limited-edition tape EP that soon bore successive editions across a number of formats. Of them, Iron Bonehead released Sorguinazia on CD later on in 2017 and then on 12" vinyl in early 2018. And for good reason: Sorguinazia are shamanistic butchers of pseudo-occult intellectualism, purveying pure cannibalistic black metal with preternatural fire. They may've hailed from Canada, but by all measures, their sound was otherworldly to the extreme, both primitively primordial and exceedingly nuanced. Sorguinazia was the sound of all colors being absorbed and spit back out, mangled and malign.

While a full-length work was promised not long after the release of that first EP, years of tension and unease followed, which perfectly suited Sorguinazia's sense of the unpredictable and unorthodox. At long last, their debut album arrives: Negation of Delirium. Almost too perfectly titled, Sorguinazia's first full-length work warps deliriums of all sorts - mental, physical, cosmic, even sexual - and negates them all the same. It's very much in line with what the duo of Xolaryxis and Axczor presented before, but arguably in more brittle form here. Indeed, this almost-deliberate desiccation takes their ghoulish 'n' ghastly black metal to uncomfortable realms of sensory experience, that previously wobbly balance between beyond-the-shade mysticism and soul-flaying insanity now upended, and we are but below to witness its unsettling fallout. Put another way, this soundpool of gibbering, horrendous "notes" that somehow coalesce into rude yet strangely alluring shapes is faintly recognizable as being performed by humans, but the sonic-unto-spiritual dislocation is so strong that it thusly transports the listener far beyond the realm of man. Is there a return?

Or, more pithily, imagine a pile of old tapes from the crude-yet-aristocratic Concilium collective left to rot in a sewer... Or, just simply, this is truly the Negation of Delirium. Sorguinazia offer no return.

Whispering Voice Records is proudly presenting yet another release. This time from the Norwegian black metal heavy hitters, Arvas.
The band is releasing their sixth full-length album, entitled VI, which consist of 12 hard-hitting songs, including the singel ‘Silent Night’, released in November 2020.
Since the release of Equanimity in 2019, the band has been working hard on material for a new album, and the result of that work has been put into VI.

And this album is the hardest hitting album the band has made in their career… so far.

Since releasing the singel ‘Silent Night’ last year, critics has described the music for the new album as being ‘Svartere enn Helvette’ (Blacker than Hell).

The band promised something harder than they’ve ever done by the band before… and they were true to their word.

‘VI’ will be out on Friday September 17.

REAWACAN “Pandemic Coverage & Old Schooling” (EP, 2021)

 

An old and mighty steam train is approaching. Slow in its march, but unstoppable! Far from the modern and extreme concept of Death Metal genre, the German duo REAWACAN comes back after releasing the self-titled debut album in 2019. The new EP is called Pandemic Coverage & Old Schooling and it showcases once more the eclectic attitude of the Kassel-based group. With this new release (made of two brand-new tracks and two covers) we still find the distinctive elements of the band's sound like the deep but descriptive growl, and a groove-rich drumming (especially for what concerns the bass drum), but also “new entries” like the fretless bass in the song “Into Proliferation” and the great care of the melodies in “Sad Serenade”. 

Pandemic Coverage & Old Schooling results much heavier than the previous release, fitting the desperate and aggressive moods of the current pandemic. With this powerful and unexpected EP, REAWACAN reaffirms its own musical independence and authenticity for what turns out to be one of the most solid metal releases so far this year.
