After thirty years, a great Black Metal legend returns to the scene. Do you want to know who it is?

MOORAH SIGNS WITH ART GATES RECORDS FOR THE INTERNATIONAL RELEASE OF ITS FIRST ALBUM

Art Gates Records is proud to introduce the Post-Black Metal band Moorah to our great family of artists.

Moorah is a Post-black Metal band from Prague (Czechia) that started as a solo project by Count Hroozah in 2019. Their music is defined as "Post-Black Metal", where you can listen to elements used in classical Czech and Norwegian bands. of Black, as well as touches of post-metal, post-punk and blackgaze, thus creating a dense and unique atmosphere along with a devastating sound. Additionally, Ferenc Fečo, the legendary original drummer for the iconic Master's Hammer, joined the Moorah project.

In Ferenc Fečo's words:
“When I first heard the Moorah demo, I had a direct feeling. It's not just the music, it's something else ... it's not posturing. This is the moment I have been waiting for thirty years ”.

In the words of Count Hroozah:
“He was one of the first Black Metal drummers in history. I am extremely happy to have Ferenc among us. Now that we are complete, our mission begins. Not only do we have a great drummer among us, but the sound of the band is much more powerful. Ferenc is a true brother with whom to talk and debate about Goethe, entities from the "other side, order, chaos ... 100% original."

Moorah have landed and are poised to mark school with their debut album via Art Gates Records.

THE WRING: Presents 'Sorceress' Lyric Video

The Wring - Sorceress [Official Lyrics Video] - YouTube

"Sorceress is an observation on every man’s devotion to his ‘queen’. A good man will do anything for her. The warrior is the metaphor, adding a small touch of macho hubris.

Marc Bonilla did an amazing job on the vocals, blending some spoken word with great melodies and harmonies. His performance smoothed out the quirkiness of the riffs making for a very interesting and connected final composition."

"Sorceress" is a track taken from 'Project Cipher' album out via Wormholedeath worldwide.

"Project Cipher" is available on all digital platforms HERE

“If in the ’80s, Geddy decided to shun the synthesizer and Alex became a disciple of Dave Mustaine instead of Midge Ure, Rush might have sounded something like this. The album is 7 songs with one instrumental and 6 vocal tracks. It is a rock record with bits of proggy stuff hidden inside. The players are diverse and really complement each other and the overall vibe.” – The Wring

ORGREL premiere new track at NoCleanSinging.com

Today, ancient black metallers Orgrel premiere the new track "Amor Fati" at heavily trafficked web-portal NoCleanSinging.com. The track is the second to be revealed from the band's highly anticipated debut album, Red Dragon's Invocation, set for international release on October 15th via Iron Bonehead Productions. Hear Orgrel's "Amor Fati" in its entirety exclusively HERE.

A band literally out of time, Orgrel hail from Italy and, more importantly, hail the ancient days of black metal - the days too often forgotten, in the late '90s, when labels like Solistitium, Sombre, and Drakkar began releasing obsidian gems during the genre's post-sensationalism fallout. Rich with righteous fury and triumph alike, the power-trio deliver their first public recording, the full-length Red Dragon's Invocation. Immediately, mystical splendor and dizzying delirium are felt as Orgrel kick in with an impassioned surge, each and every riff, rhythm, and holler stirring bloodlust and wonder/wander simultaneously. The soundfield is studiously raw yet robust, flat but somehow full, allowing aggression and atmosphere equal reign, and engrossing the listener to the very last: indeed, Red Dragon's Invocation is summarily titled. Its mysteries are starkly simple but exceedingly sublime, being purely and totally BLACK METAL in word and deed; black metal doesn't need to "become" anything when it already IS. Orgrel know this intrinsic truth and pursue it to the hilt across their debut album.

Graced with absolutely stunning cover artwork by Luciana Nedelea, Orgrel raise their sword of truth and prepare to strike unbelievers with Red Dragon's Invocation.

Fall beneath their sword with the brand-new track "Amor Fati" exclusively HERE, courtesy of NoCleanSinging.com. Further fall beneath that sword with the previously revealed "Burning Ruins" HERE at Iron Bonehead's Soundcloud. Aforementioned cover art and tracklisting are as follows:

Snakeblade Entices Extreme Metal Fans w/ Game of Thrones Inspired “The Red Mage’s Seduction”

Snakeblade Entices Extreme Metal Fans With Game of Thrones Inspired “The Red Mage’s Seduction”

Track Premiere via NoCleanSinging

New Album “The Curse” Out October 13, 2021

Snakeblade is a relatively new one-man solo project that was spawned out of pandemic isolation. Over the past year and a half, the ever intrepid Mike Redston has written, performed and recorded two albums, “The Kingdom” in 2020 and “The Curse” in 2021. The first single off the latter is “The Red Mage’s Seduction”, which, like the rest of the album, is themed around Game of Thrones.

Even though both albums were released in relatively quick succession, Redston cites that the difference between the two albums is very clear. While the first album started out as a ‘fun’ project bordering on power / black metal, he has since taken a deep dive into a darker blackened thrash sound and introduced new symphonic elements. The project is still young, he explains further:

“The music has grown immensely in complexity and scale. A session drummer was hired to handle blasting the kit. There are new orchestral elements of strings, pianos, and choirs. Atmospheric synth interludes. Holy hell, there’s even a sexy saxophone solo! Lyrically, “The Curse” is somewhat of a concept album revolving around Game of Thrones. I say “somewhat” because as I began writing, the initial inspiration from GOT started mixing with my own experiences. What came out is a melting pot of nerdy fantasy shit plus my own personal shit. GOT plotlines of The Red Woman, Stannis Baratheon, and the Lord of Light religion meet my own personal plot lines of betrayal, failure, and rage. Overall, these songs are both deeply emotional and deeply nerdy.”

The single “The Red Mage’s Seduction” is Redston’s favourite track off the album. It has the best of both worlds: a thrashy chaotic feel plus an atmospheric orchestral twist in the middle. Like the other songs on the album, it was written and performed by Redston with the exception of drums, which are performed by Dennis Kraakman. The album artwork was done by Elizabeth Holmes.

According to Redston, it has been a long, pain-staking process making this album and he looks forward to seeing how it is received by black, death and thrash metal fans. It is especially recommended for fans of Slayer, Dissection and Skeletonwitch.

“The Red Mage’s Seduction” can be heard via its premiere on NoCleanSinging HERE

The album “The Curse” will be available on October 13, 2021.

About:
Amidst the Covid-19 pandemic, Snakeblade was formed by Mike Redston as an escapist project while the entire world was quarantined. What came out of this anxious time may surprise you though, as Snakeblade refuses to follow typical one-man black metal trends. Every song on their debut album The Kingdom explodes with energy and youthful rage, delivering a pummelling of riffs, blastbeats, and shrieking vocals. With lyrical topics of fantasy, medieval battles, lord of the rings, and video games, Snakeblade is a headbanging nerd’s wet dream. Now on their second effort, the one-man project delves into bold new territory adding orchestral and electro elements to the blackened thrashy chaos that is: The Curse.

Discography:
2020 - The Kingdom
2021 - The Curse

- 30 -

"This one man black metal project from Canada, spearheaded by Mike Redston, wastes no time in pushing the pedal to the metal and letting it all go. No, seriously; the very first track on his new album, The Kingdom, has an insanely flamboyant and satisfying guitar solo, breakneck drums, and vocal shrieks aplenty." - Heavy Blog Is Heavy

"Snakeblade Goes Beyond Black Metal Trappings on 'The Kingdom'" - Exclaim!

"It's safe to say that Snakeblade's musical genius will quickly outgrow Redston's one-man credo, for other musicians will surely seek out his vision. That he has crafted such venomous metal that is still wildly entertaining during this pandemic is a huge accomplishment, and The Kingdom will appeal to fans of this black metal style, particularly followers of Mayhem, Borknagar and classic Slayer." - Exclaim!

"This is absolutely my jam, and The Kingdom is one of my favorite albums of the year so far." - Toilet ov Hell

"I am compelled to say that SNAKEBLADE most definitely delivered an utmost maddening, but enjoyably entertaining discovery that made me replay this …pretty much all day long. “The Kingdom” is an addicting spin that will blow brains & shatter windows with explosive clarity. Full of density, technical prowess & engaging captivation. This is an incredibly amazing debut album, and I will most look forward to their upcoming projects. And for a singular writing attempt, bravo! I couldn’t help but score this as a masterful piece of other-worldly malevolence which most certainly deserves a slot in your collection for sure. Check it out!" - Metal Temple

Formed in 2020 by longtime friends who share a passion for music, Tarmat was created during the pandemic. In this delicate context, the musicians took advantage of the time available during social isolation to start a new authorial project. Every song was composed and produced from their homes. Also, their music goes from soft to hard rock, influenced by artists such as Journey, Boston, Europe, Simply Red, Christopher Cross and Queen.

These musicians have been together for quite a long time and took part in previous musical endeavors, such as Driving Force, G.R.A.Z.E., a Whitesnake cover band, and Anxtron, which happened to be the opening band for national and international bands such as Marillion.

The band is getting ready to release their debut album next month, with eight original tracks, produced and recorded by the band in their home studios and at Estúdio Omega, in Niterói, RJ. Mixed and co-produced by Eduardo Belchior, from Intense Music Producions, Sweden. Mastered by Swedish artist Ronny Milianowicz, who is also a drummer in the band ShadowQuest, and has worked with bands such as Angra, Kreator, Hammerfall, BloodBound, Paradise Lost, among others.

Tarmat makes high quality music blending AOR and different melodic rock styles with a current sprinkle of poetic lyrics full of sentiment. “Gabriel and Eduardo used to make the arrangements at their homes and sent me their recordings so I could get the vibe of the songs and write the melodies and lyrics, which popped up together; it was almost psychographic. The lyrics have a very personal signature. Through them, I open my chest talking a lot about my life and everything around me. If it wasn't for the pandemic, I don't think we would have come this far. It all started without any great expectations, but the outcome turned out to be so interesting that we decided to release it”, explains Alexandre Daumerie, vocalist and composer.

"We’ve been long surfing nostalgic waves. Ever since I started in music, when I was about 15 years, I had always wanted to be successful with my projects. And now with this original work, my wish is that it gets widely spread. We want to leave our message all over the world, and we hope everyone enjoys it", explains Alexandre Daumerie.
