CORPSE VOMIT – DROWNING IN PUKE ( Review by Varg The Mighty )

Today’s review is of Danish Death Metal band Corpse Vomit’s classic debut, celebrating its upcoming reissue.

Mixing a brutality almost comparable with Cannibal Corpse and Carcass’ rock & roll background with a slower approach vaguely reminiscent of Autopsy (although less dark and more straightforward).

Even if this release may feel short, it sure is intense and may appeal to fans of the 90’s heaviest Death Metal acts. If you still don’t have this one, this rerelease is just what you needed. Adding putrid intros to their demented riffs and overall attractively disgusting aura, this album is relentless Extreme Metal at its finest. My personal highlights are “Disembowelment” and “Reeking Cunt”.

I recommend this album to fans of Death Metal and Brutal Death Metal. My rating is of 8/10.
