Immortalizer - Lemmy (Single) - (Heavy Metal)

Dave D.R. is a multi-instrumentalist recording artist and performer from Ontario Canada. He released his debut EP on CD and 7” Vinyl in 2016 and on social media in 2020. he is currently writing and recording the first full length album. "Special thanks to Jobert Mello of SLEDGEHAMMER GRAPHIX for his amazing cover art as well as the new Immortalizer logo" - Dave D.R.

When Dave was as kid, he was profoundly inspired by Heavy Metal and Rock pioneers like Motorhead, Judas Priest, Saxon, Iron Maiden, Dio, Black Sabbath, Ozzy, Primal Fear, Helloween, Gamma Ray, Van Halen, Thin Lizzy, Megadeth, Metallica, Whitesnake, Deep Purple and KISS (to name only a few). He began as a drummer when he was nine years old, then eventually taught himself to sing, play guitar, bass and keyboards. In 2020 he started working with legendary Metal singer Ralf Scheepers of Primal Fear to further develop his vocal abilities.

Dave has always tried his best to create new and exciting music. When he started writing material for IMMORTALIZER, he wanted to create something original but that still had a vintage feel to it. His aim is not to copy what's already been done but rather to contribute something fresh and entertaining. He hope's you'll agree once you've heard the music. Don't forget to crank up the volume! You can also find IMMORTALIZER on ITunes & the official website www.immortalizermusic.com
Cheers!

Press release:
"I wrote and recorded this song in memory of legendary Motörhead front man Lemmy Kilmister. Gone but never forgotten!"

Aor from Imperial Age - Thoughts on Marco Hietala´s resignation

THOUGHTS ON MARCO HIETALA's RESIGNATION
Today I wake up, turn my phone on and see this message from
Joost Hoogenboom
, our merch guy: “Hey! Have you read that Marko Hietala stopped playing in Nightwish? For pretty much the exact reason why you keep telling not to sign for big labels etc. Please stop being right 🙁
As every NW fan (since childhood) I was of course totally shocked, but then, after reading the full message which Marko posted… I wasn’t shocked anymore, unfortunately. I was just sad.
After all, in April 2020 a big record label offered Imperial Age to sign away the rights for the upcoming album (which is still in the making) for 20 years. They didn’t even ask for the music - they were sure it would sell really well.
As you all know, they were not alone, and we refused all - despite the fact that ‘getting signed’ had been our biggest dream. Many told us that we are mad.
But now here comes another illustration why having things in your own hands becomes a better idea with every day.
The worst nightmare for the gatekeepers is when no one asks their permission anymore and can totally bypass the gates themselves. Thats why they hate crowdfunding - and why everyone should do more of it. And with the technology that we have today, this has become possible - its called the Direct to Fan system. When there are no middle-people between the band and the fans. And it works BEAUTIFULLY.
The main problem with the music industry is that if the artist does not want to understand business (and in most cases thats true), they get ripped off. I hate business myself, I was just forced to learn it. But now that I have, I can see right through the big money guys and tell when things are fair and when not.
In 2021 we no longer need permission to bond with our fans and they no longer need permission to bond with us. We no longer need to be approved or evaluated in any way. This is amazing and this has not been the case before.
Don’t stick to contracts - stick to your fans. The only difference between you and a bigger band is the amount and the loyalty of fans, not some fancy brands behind you.
I strongly encourage all colleagues to level up their independency and take matters into their own hands.
This is the future. This is the way.
-Aor

ABOUT STORM THE GATES

___________________________________________________

Mark Pyjama elaborates that:

"This song was first written as a demo in 2017, but then sat on a shelf, and was not listened to for years whilst I personally worked on the overall production sound for Madjenta. But, the time has come ...

Obdurance, a King of the Old World, unwilling to change and adapt to the ways of Pyjama Planet, is possessed by an ancient evil and transformed into a monstrous, monolithic demon.

Once the King of Kings, the heart of all women, and the muscle of all men, King Obdurance was a force unlike any other in the realm. He was kind to the young and old, stern and encouraging to the rest, and led with vigour.

That was until he was ‘gifted’ the chance to live forever…

“Never show your true desire,” he would say to his followers. “Always keep your enemies guessing, and your loved ones curious.”

Sadly, the King’s only child was lured into a trap and killed by a gang of outland bandits when just a wee pup.

Such a cataclysmic event turned the King sour, and it was then that the forces of evil engulfed his sorrowful soul.

Angry at his loss, and lost from his anger, he was never the same. The years turned him into an actual monster; 20 feet tall, and skin with the texture of rock. His powers grew and he became more ferocious in his ruling.

For centuries, Obdurance ravaged the outskirts of Pyjama Planet, causing pain and harm to anything that lived.

At her wits end, Madjenta takes it upon herself with her band of followers to finally storm the gates of Obdurance’s stronghold, and finish him off once and for all."

Repaid In Blood - Reflective Duality (Death Metal/Metal Core)

California geek metal squad REPAID IN BLOOD is gearing up for the release of their second full-length album, Reflective Duality . The album finds REPAID IN BLOOD maniacally bulldozing its way through eight tracks of pit-inducing fury. Featuring guest appearances from members of THREAT SIGNAL, ALLEGAEON, BORN OF OSIRIS and FLUB, Reflective Duality is the album metal fans need to kick off 2021 properly.

The band comments on the album, “We have always been a fun going band, writing about the things we love and care about, metal, comics, movies, all around geek stuff. Well this time around we also wrote about what we care about, this time it’s people! You, and everyone else, are created equal. This isn’t an album about hate, it’s about our love for our country and what it should stand for. This isn’t a political album, it’s about human rights. All humans are created equal, women, children and men. Metal IS Family. We should support each other, as well as everyone that needs help in our communities. If you have a problem with our views, kindly see yourself out of our socials. We thank you for your time.”

REPAID IN BLOOD mixes the best of Death Metal and Metal-core creating their own unique genre: Geek Metal! Which blends crushing riffs, searing solos, ball shattering breakdowns with a variety of pop culture, movies, games and geekdom samples into their performances that always gets the crowd going and shouting the lines and samples during the show!

REPAID IN BLOOD is a metal band that started in 2006 in Sunnyvale, CA. The name was taken from a lyric off The Black Dahlia Murder’s first full length album, Unhallowed. The name is an expression of violence in its truest form, vengeance. Victor Hernandez and Jake Burrmann formed a band in high school, with different members coming and going along the way, eventually turning into what became REPAID IN BLOOD. Jake Burrmann and Juan Galvez are the last of the founding members, and yet, with the powerful vocals and live performances of Darrell Durham, along with the blistering leads of Patrick Small, REPAID IN BLOOD is a strong cohesive family.

REPAID IN BLOOD has worked the local scene with a strong fan base, played in three showcases at South By Southwest, numerous West Coast and Southwest tours and US tours. REPAID IN BLOOD are serious about the music they create, but always have fun doing so. From the "I Saw Zombies Eating Santa Claus" Xmas parody to a Lego stop motion, Clerks inspired, Jaws parody video, to a full puppet band video for a parody of Salt N Peppa’s “Push It”, releasing tour and behind the scenes blooper videos, using Archer or Stranger Things for a live opening, kid’s cereal, zombies, pop culture, comic books, Game Of Thrones, to peeing on you, you are guaranteed to take something away from REPAID IN BLOOD musically and live.

REPAID IN BLOOD has one full length album, Born In A Lazarus Pit, which was released June 2014, with music videos released, national promotion, and press as well. REPAID IN BLOOD also has an earlier EP One Bullet Shy Of A Solution released August 2008 and more recently a second EP Terra Mourning in May 2017. The newest full length, Reflective Duality, is due out January 21st 2021.

REPAID IN BLOOD have done full US tours: East Bound And Death Tour with thrashers Apothesary, The Repaid In Death Tour with Australian Death Metalers In Death..., The Split Personality Tour with Death Will Tremble, The Danger Zone Tour with Casket Robbery, and the massive No One Gets Out Alive Tour with In Death..., Casket Robbery and Bury The Rod which was a great success. REPAID IN BLOOD has shared the stage with All Shall Perish, Allegaeon, Betraying The Martyrs, Embryonic Devourment, Forbidden, Incite, Morta Skuld, Voices Of Ruin, Sacrificial Slaughter as well as so many others on the road.

REPAID IN BLOOD is:

Darrell Durham on Vocals

Reflective Duality was recorded, produced, mixed and mastered by Eric Hill at The Blue Room Recording Studio. All drums by Juan Galvez, all rhythm guitar, some leads and bass by Jake Burrmann.
