band. The music is a blend of traditional Heavy Metal, Power Metal, and Thrash
influences, creating a melodic and powerful sound. Often described as "Power
Thrash," they meld together catchy melodies, heart stopping rhythms and bone
crunching chords while telling stories of dark and light themes.
A crowd Favorite in Cleveland and named a band to watch by Scene Magazine,
Olathia embodies the heart and passion that defined 1980s Heavy Metal, while
pushing the genre's boundaries into exciting new territories by blending classic
influences from both sides of the Atlantic. They draw inspiration from iconic acts
such as Metallica, Ozzy Osbourne, Iron Maiden, Exodus, Pantera, Heart, Sinergy,
Warlock, and Dio.
But what makes them stand out like a blazing comet in this wild rock-and-roll
universe? It’s their fearless frontwoman, Chris E. Her voice, a molten fusion of
strength and finesse. She capturing the emotional essence of their songs while
also letting the raw power hurt so good.
