Today’s review is of German Melodic Death Metal band Sacrificium’s new album.
This release offers some fast and aggressive Death Metal filled with melodies that soar upon the band’s sonic maelstrom relentlessly. As a result, the album has the aggressive aspect of other subgenres, sometimes even Brutal Death, while maintaining an element of catchiness in some riffs.
Certain songs also have an electronic element woven inside that makes them stand out with a slight Industrial influence. This is a solid full-length that may appeal to fans of almost any kind of Death Metal. My personal highlights are “From Above” and “Decadence Reigns”.
I recommend this album to fans of Melodic Death Metal. My rating is of 8,5/10.
