The
last few months have been testing for us, where after releasing LPs for
every single release for the last two years, we were forced to take a
long break from offering them. The reason being, the few quality
pressing plants in existence were massively overloaded with commercial
artists jumping on the vinyl bandwagon and booking the plants for months
and months, and the raw material shortage, the war, inflation, etc.
only made things worse. Without prior notification, the turnaround time
for our LPs suddenly became a year and it was too late for us to do
anything about it - we were just going on with our schedule and did our
best to honour what we had committed to our bands. People stopped buying
because they hadn't received what they had previously ordered in an
atmosphere of uncertainty and this went on till a point where it made no
sense offering new LPs.
Now
with more than half a dozen LPs ready and on our way to us, and being
assured that the rest of them will be ready in the next couple of
months, we finally seem to be nearing the end of the vinyl nightmare.
But we need your help to kickstart the format before it's too late and
more worthy releases are deprived of the vinyl treatment permanently. We
can only afford so much. We will simply be putting in money received
from the pre-sales of one vinyl title to pressing the next one and so on
and so forth until we can get back on our feet and make this a norm for
us like before.
We're starting with LPs for the release of black metal band Decipher who've
put together a terrific album, blending the best qualities of the
style. I'm taking a big risk because this is only their debut but I
believe in their music and will put my money where my mouth is.

There
are only two colour variants, with each of them limited and
hand-numbered to 100 nos. Keeping aside copies for the band and our
vinyl subscription club members, we have only around 120 copies for
sale, which are divided across our four stores if you include our US
one. So please consider reserving a copy for yourself before it's too
late, and do note that the waiting period for this title is considerably
less too - just as much as a regular CD release. We're only offering
pre-orders knowing that most if not all previous titles will come in before the Decipher LPs get ready.
