After a hiatus of 14 years, Yskelgroth is back with their upcoming album "Bleeding of the Hideous". The band was formed in the year 2000 with the aim of creating a ferocious and savage blend of Death and Black Metal. Unfortunately, the project fell apart in 2007 when David moved to Germany, but the band was relaunched in 2008 when Dave Rotten and Vicente J. Payá from Unbounded Terror/Golgotha teamed up to write songs for a new album.
In early 2009, the band completed their first album "Unholy Primitive Nihilism" which received little promotion due to the unfortunate folding of their label, Regimental Rec. However, Yskelgroth is now ready to give their music the treatment it deserves with their upcoming release "Bleeding of the Hideous".
The band's new album is a result of a year-long effort by the three members to write 9 new songs with an even more complex, twisted, and intricate sound. With Javier Fernández from The Heretic/Nexus 6 on drums, synths, and guitar arrangements, the band's sound has been enriched to produce a faster and more aggressive sound.
Xtreem Music was an obvious choice for the release of "Bleeding of the Hideous", which will be available in digital and CD formats from April 4th, 2023. The album promises to be outstanding in today's Death/Black Metal genre, with an exceptional production that will take the listener on a ferocious journey through Yskelgroth's savage world.
