KEKAL's best-of compilation "Eternitarian" is out now! Indonesia-based progressive/avant-garde extreme metal band KEKAL has just released "Eternitarian": a best-of compilation album featuring 31 tracks clocking in at almost 3 hours spanning 27 years worth of music in their catalog, with select material taken from the band's entire 13 full-length albums, 3 EPs, and also their very first 1995 demo. Presented in this free or donation-based digital-download-only release are the band’s old-time favorites as well as highlights from newer material and previously unreleased alternate-mixes. "Eternitarian" serves the purpose of introducing the entire KEKAL discography with highlights from every album and EP from their 90s period to 2022, including listeners' favorites such as "Vox Diaboli", "A Dream For A Moment", "Artifacts Of Modern Insanity", "Isolated I", "Mean Attraction", "Embrace The Dead", "Rotting Youth", as well as their newer material. KEKAL is one of the first bands/musicians from Indonesia that gained an international presence in the early and mid-2000s by releasing albums in both North American and European markets, and being the first band from Indonesia to tour Europe in March 2004. Since 2009, KEKAL has become a band with no official members, but its former member(s) still continue to make music and release albums under the band name, albeit as anonymous contributors who are no longer published as music performers.
