MindTrap "Quatro"

MindTrap es una banda guipuzcoana formada en 2014 por músicos provenientes de otras formaciones como AOD, Zephyr o Blast wave. En estos 7 años el grupo se ha centrado en sacar el mejor repertorio posible de temas propios, así como en dar conciertos (con una intensa actividad en directo que nos ha llevado a tocar en salas importantes como DOKA o Guardetxe, o en festivales como STOP WAR o Emakume basatiak) y preparar EPs, pudiendo grabar el primero a finales de 2015, llamado Let the music talk, un segundo en 2017, ReEvolution, el tercero en la segunda mitad de 2020, Nonetheless, y este nuevo Ep, Quatro, a finales de 2022.

Musicalmente, la principal característica de la banda es que no tiene fronteras, aunque siempre con una base rock, que va desde el blues al death metal, pasando por el hard rock setentero o incluso toques de flamenco y jazz.

Actualmente, y tras varios cambios de formación, el grupo lo formamos Marta Olea a la voz, Gorka Calero a la guitarra, Jorge Morella al bajo y Julen Puras a la batería. Ahora mismo estamos presentando Quatro, que esperamos presentar en directo en cuanto las condiciones lo permitan.

 MindTrap is a Gipuzkoan band formed in 2014 by musicians from other formations such as AOD, Zephyr or Blast wave. In these 7 years the group has focused on bringing out the best possible repertoire of their own songs, as well as giving concerts (with an intense live activity that has led us to play in important venues such as DOKA or Guardetxe, or at festivals such as STOP WAR or Emakume basatiak) and prepare EPs, being able to record the first at the end of 2015, called Let the music talk, a second in 2017, ReEvolution, the third in the second half of 2020, Nonetheless, and this new Ep, Quatro, a end of 2022.

Musically, the main characteristic of the band is that it has no borders, although always with a rock base, ranging from blues to death metal, going through seventies hard rock or even touches of flamenco and jazz.

Currently, and after several line-up changes, the group is made up of Marta Olea on vocals, Gorka Calero on guitar, Jorge Morella on bass and Julen Puras on drums. Right now we are presenting Quatro, which we hope to present live as soon as conditions allow.
