Based in: Hyderabad, India
Style: Hardcore / Crossover Thrash Metal
FFO: Madball, Agnostic Front
Defiance is R.A.I.D's
third full-length album. The band spent a year composing and recording
the album, amidst the COVID19 pandemic. Through the pandemic, the band
had to overcome a lot of professional and personal struggles. The album
features friends/musicians that include; Guitar solos on "Defiance" and
"True Wisdom" by Udhish Sundarrajan of Sacramento, California Thrash
metal band; Solanum, spoken word on "Alpha" by Eric Gerald of Final
Surrender, and soundscapes on "I Against I" by Shawn Jacob of Trip-thy.
"The album lyrically focuses on living life on your own terms, going
against the norms set by society. Society is judgemental and we should
not allow it to dominate our real selves. The reality is that people may
hate you for being different and not living by society's standards, but
deep down, they wish they have the courage to do the same." as stated
by frontman Rueban Issac.
A band that has been compared to the
likes of Madball and Agnostic Front, with a reputation for their
aggressive, in-your-face style- you can be sure that R.A.I.D will
deliver an album for those who aren’t afraid to live their truth.

Bio:
When
one thinks of a raid, the word generally conjures thoughts of a sudden
attack or assault on an enemy as in warfare. The implication is that a
counter threat or forceful action is being levied against a previous
assailant. With words such as brutal, vicious, and savage being vogue as
descriptions for heavy bands currently, it stands to reason that words
which paint images of attack would be prevalent in today’s musical
landscape.
Enter Hyderabad, India’s newest old-school
