Mondo Podre explode with Necronomia De Subexistencia, their first album
The pandemic has not only brought misfortune. In the case of the Galician Mondo Podre, they were not allowed to record an EP, but after the entry of guitarist Gon (Akouphenom, Cruzeiro), those songs were expanded until they found Necronomía De Subexistencia, their first album.
Recorded and mixed at Estudios Cumbre by Miguel Villar, who has ultimately become his second guitar, and mastered by Miguel Souto, this work is very old-school grindcore. The album sounds volatile, noisy, somewhat experimental, and keeping Espasa's bass well present in this chaos, it will devastate the ears of any fan of Pig Destroyer, Cryptopsy, Converge, Discordance Axis, Wormrot, or Full Of Hell.
Necronomía De Subexistencia will be published on CD and digital format on Friday, May 13 by Colectivo Bilis, and on LP limited to 200 copies on a date yet to be confirmed by German labels minoRobscuR, Finte Platte, AAIP, and Galician Colectivo Bilis and the zine I Don't Give A Fuck. In addition, those from Vigo are planning a small edition of 30 cassettes with the Germans Cancer Christ Tapes and an edition of 100 CD-comics with Indómita Galaxia on a date also to be determined.
