Today’s review is of American Thrash Metal band Recipients Of Death’s 2 Eps, celebrating their re-release as a single CD.

These releases offer straightforward American Thrash in the likes of the Bay Area scene with some hardcore elements which bring to mind Anthrax or RKL. These songs are ideal if you want to bang your head or party relentlessly, and given their direct approach they are unlikely to appeal to fans of modern and elaborate Thrash, only to the enjoyers of the true old-school underground.

 

With unceasing speed and unending violence, Recipients Of Death’s discography will blast the unsuspecting listener into a time when Thrash was all about mayhem and depravation. My personal highlights are “Final Flight” and “Necropolis (City Of The Dead”.

I recommend this release to fans of American Thrash Metal and Crossover. My rating is of 8,5/10.
