Mighty Music News

Ever since 2014, JUNKYARD DRIVE has been across half the world. With more than 100 concerts played, over five million streams and two records to this day, they’ve solidly planted their flag on the international rock scene, playing the big stages as the one in Sweden Rock Festival and doing the big tours with, for instance, Eclipse. After the success of their most recent album “Black Coffee” with new faces and ten new razor sharp songs, the band is now ready with their next record “Electric Love”.

“Electric Love” marks a newfound maturity in the group’s universe. Armed with solid and ferocious riffs, the album exposes a hitherto unseen sincerity in the lyrical themes. The teenage days are over in favour of stories about self development, inner tensions and love.

The album is recorded in the legendary Medley Studios, produced by Soren Andersen (Glenn Hughes, Jesper Binzer, Electric Guitars) and mixed/mastered by Erik Martensson (Eclipse).

The teenage days might be over, but they remain to be the greatest Danish rock band (below 40).

“Electric Love” will be released in digital, CD and LP (two colours, each limited to 300 units) by Mighty Music on May 13th, 2022. Pre-orders are available here.

Blindstone signs to Mighty Music

Mighty Music is proud to announce the signing of the Danish blues-rock power trio BLINDSTONE, a band with a solid past in which the label saw a brilliant future.

Guitarist and vocalist Martin Jepsen Andersen comments: “We are very excited about entering this new collaboration with Target Group / Mighty Music. Myself also being a member of Meridian, who have been working with Target for many years, we are no strangers to the label. Thus, we are also convinced that Target is the right place for Blindstone. We are very much looking forward to this new chapter in the 20-year history of Blindstone. Prepare for great things to come!".

Kickin Valentina will tour Europe in May

US sleaze rock rebels KICKIN VALENTINA will bring their Revenge Of Rock tour to Europe already in May. This is the long-overdue European trek for the band, after the release of their last album "The Revenge Of Rock" via Mighty Music in January 2021, followed by gigs dry amidst pandemics restrictive measures.

"After all of the craziness in the world for the past two years, we are really looking forward to getting back on tour in Europe again. Since our last album "The Revenge of Rock" came out in January of 2021, we've had to cancel four different tours over there.  We can't wait to finally play these new songs live for fans that haven't had a chance to see us in a couple of years" bassist Chris Taylor states.
