Palacio de sombras", the new work by the Catalans LA CIFRA NEGRA, is the effect that more than a year of confinement and restrictions can have on a group of musicians who cannot see their wishes fulfilled due to it. The reflection of their concerns, but above all of those yearning for freedom, to go beyond the limits that were imprisoning their day to day.This is evident in the variety of an intense, powerful and committed hard rock work, where the darkest moments alternate with some moments of optimism and an acid and accurate portrait of different facets of the global society in which we live is made.
Thus, a range of slight oriental, tribal, country, pop, progressive or gothic airs passes through its hard rock sieve, nevertheless offering an identity and cohesive album, easy to listen to, that alternates fast and direct songs, passages of funk rock and melodic half times.
