Brought into existence in 2016, TRALINEATE is a one-man band hailing from Topeka, Kansas. Chris Sanders, the sole member, has been playing and writing death metal since the early 90s. Influenced by bands ranging in flavor from Danzig to Lamb of God and Fleshgod Apocalypse to Pantera. TRALINEATE's brand of metal is a fast-paced, groove-laden, heavy as a tank, onslaught of destruction.

Chris' metal journey started in early 1993, spending '93-'96 with Doomsaer as lead vocalist and also sharing guitar writing duties. Doomsaer burst onto the local scene and helped usher in a new voice of heavy music in Topeka. After Doomsaer's demise in '96, Chris took a hiatus and then formed No Flesh Spared in late 1999, taking the helm as lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist. NFS was very active around the area and released two albums during that time. NFS disbanded in '03 due to various life changes and Chris found himself mostly on his own. He spent a couple of years trying different lineups under other names and then in '07, released a solo project under the name Heteromorphic.

After toying around with several other different thoughts and recording experiments, TRALINEATE was created. A demo was released in 2017 consisting of several different themes and Chris built upon some of those thoughts over the last few years resulting in this newest album. TRALINEATE by definition means 'to deviate, to stray, or to wander,' essentially meaning to do things differently and not be tied to just one form or method. Chris chose the name specifically to represent his approach to creating heavy music and even though the new album, Parasites, carries the traditional metal torch high, creating its sound was anything but that.
