Tracey Lamb ( Rock Goddes/Girlschool) By Javier Barba Vallejo

These are the fingers of our friend Tracey Lamb, bassist of the mythical Girlschool, after playing with Saxon in concerts in Manchester and London.
One after the blister was opened and the other with blood still encapsulated, and this is Heavy Metal, the Barbie possers of pink princesses have no place here.
That's why I pay a small tribute to her and her bands Rock Godess, She, Girlschool and Gary Glitter and, together, to the women of Rock/Metal.

With Rock Godess, she was a founder together with the Turner sisters in 1977 and left the band after recording her debut album "Rock Godess" (1983) to go to the group She and from there she joined the legendary Girlschool in 1987 entering and leaving always maintaining very good relationships and recording great albums like "Take A Bite" (1988), Grilschool Live Revisited (1995), 21 Aniversary - Not That Innocent (2002), during those entrances and exits he recorded "The Gang, The Band , The Leader" (1989) with Gary Glitter.
In 2013, 30 years later, the three original components remade the ranks of Rock Godess, until four years later they released an Ep "It's More Than Rock 'n'Roll" (2017) to leave the band in 2018 and reunite with Girlschool, substituting definitively Enid Williams and staying with the great formation that they currently have together with Kelly Johnson, Jackie Chambers, and Denise Duford. At this time he has recorded the album "Stoke" (2021) an unofficial Japanese album shared with Alcatrazz.
For about 14 or 16 years she has lived in the beautiful Andalusian town of Torrox where this past summer we had the pleasure of meeting her and spending a very pleasant and friendly evening with her, in which we laughed a lot.

And so, with Tracey and her bands, I want to capture a memory of all those pioneering women in Rock, Metal, Gothic and Punk who paved the way for the current female rock scene Janis Joplin, Alaska and Dinarama, Runaways, Chetah, Las Vulpes, Nina Hagen , Amaro , Pat Benatar , Santa , Becky Bondage , Lee Aron and a long national and international etc , without forgetting Sabina Classen from Holy Moses as a pioneer woman in Thrash Metal and one of my favorite singers of all time Liv Kristine who although somewhat younger (she has recently turned 46) I consider her a pioneer of Gothic Metal with Theater Of Tragedy together with Anneke Van Giersbergen with The Gathering and I would like to thank all of them for their important contribution to Rock.
