HEX are back with Behold The Unlighted, an EP that will be released on Thursday, March 24, coinciding with the start of their tour with Master around the Peninsula. It will first appear on CD through Vertebrae, Negre planY and Hecatombe Records, and later, with a date yet to be determined, on LP under Vertebrae, BlackSeed Productions, Burial Records, Hecatombe and Pathologically Explicit Recordings.
With a renewed line-up thanks to the inclusion of members of Denial and Shallow Waters, these three songs have been recorded together with Ekaitz Garmendia at Black Storm Studios (Sijjin, Numen, Legen Beltza), with an additional master for vinyl. by craftsman Patrick W. Engel in his Temple Of Disharmony (Asphyx, Tiamat, Paradise Lost, Grave Miasma…). The cover has been carried out once again by its guitarist and founder Adolfo WB at Warbanner Studio.
If this Basque bastion of death doom already impressed you by winning the Villa de Bilbao or with his previous album God Has No Name (2019), you still haven't heard anything. On Behold The Unlighted, HEX ascend to another level of mastery and graceful darkness, dressing these songs in production that's simply perfect for their musical offering.
