MELODIC METAL BAND ALTAR OF I SIGNS WITH ART GATES RECORDS FOR THE INTERNATIONAL RELEASE OF THEIR NEXT ALBUM IN 2022!

Art Gates Records is proud to induct melodic death metal band Altar of I into our international family of artists! Altar of I was founded in 2016 in Klagenfurt (Austria). In its beginnings it was created to combine metalcore sounds with others closer to melodic death metal. With a few changes of members during his years, he began to define his style by adding more progressive elements, mixing the most aggressive death metal with atmospheres and passages that fly over vocal lines that go from guttural to the most passionate melodic voices. His lyrics deal with social and political issues from a more philosophical point of view.

In the words of the band: "In a world where we have to pray to faceless gods and obey the orders that come to us from above, it is time to make it clear who the true gods are: each one of us. We are our teachers. We must believe, but not obey blindly. Our body is our altar that contains our soul and our mind. The "I" in you is who you should care for and adore and this is the center of your identity. Our music and lyrics represent our personalities and our point of view. view of the world around us. We put all our emotions and energy into our music, and we want you to be able to hear and feel it."   After playing throughout Austria, participating in festivals and sharing the stage with bands like Irdorath, Carnifex and others, Altar of I are more than ready to unleash all their artillery and spread their next album "Human Resources" throughout Europe through from Art Gates Records in 2022. "The Night Inside" is the first single from prog Pressure Points, part of their upcoming album to be released via Art Gates Records in 2023! Pressure Points is a melodic progressive metal band founded in Heinola in 2004. Their music is described as exceptional in the field of melodic and progressive metal, mixing different styles with a great sense of melody with dynamic and innovative structures. Porcupine Tree, Rush, Dream Theater and Leprous are some of his great influences. "Blessed by the Storm" is the epic single from power metallers Theragon and is now available on digital platforms! This seven-minute track chronicles the Kaladin stories that take place in the first book of The Stormlight Archive: The Way of Kings, written by Brandon Sanderson.   The cover and artwork have been designed by Gerard Segura.
