Ancient Settlers Release 'Cast In Gold' Animated Short
Ancient Settlers, the international band based in Donostia, publishes the animated sci-fi short film of 'Cast In Gold', the new single from their first album Our Last Eclipse: The Settlers Saga Pt.1.
In this work, which will be released on April 1 in physical and digital format, the melodic death metal group that has in its ranks members of Haboryn and even the Finnish singer Antony Hämäläinen (ex of Nightrage and Armageddon), promises "strong guitar riffs, captivating synth effects, and a diverse use of sounds and rhythms, conveying a lyrical message that focuses on the recent tragedies affecting the Earth and the human race.”
Accustomed to resorting to great professionals, Gus 'Perkele' Sazes (Gus G, Firewind, Arch Enemy, Morbid Angel...) has worked with them again for the artwork of his first film, while it has been recorded by the legendary Swedish producer and Grammy winner Fredrik Nordström (At The Gates, Dark Tranquility, Obscura, Architects, Bring Me The Horizon, Opeth…). As if that were not enough, Ancient Settlers have signed an agreement with Dronicon Films to present an animated science fiction film divided into two chapters, and they also signed with Crusader Records, part of the Australian entertainment emporium Golden Robot Global Entertaiment Group, to edit this job.
