Biography: Desolation. are a Deathcore band formed in 2013 in the state of Amapá. Carrying a heavy sound derived from Heavy metal with dark themes and personal experiences, having their own songs both in the lyrics and in the instrumental. It has two EPs, one recorded with the band's name (Desolation.) and the other titled “Blindfolded”, both with the number of five tracks. The band's Third Ep is in production, scheduled for release in January 2022. However, it has already had its name revealed as "The Unholy Spirit", production this being a milestone for the new lineup of the band that returned to the stage after a 5-year hiatus.
The band was formed by vocalist Sávio Borges and two former members, Janf Amanajás and Mikael Studier. Previously, the former members formed a Metalcore band called “Blackout” which ended its activities in 2012. With this, the opportunity to perform an even heavier sound arises, when they joined vocalist Sávio Borges for the formation of the band Desolation. Named this after a tribute to Chelsea Grin's 2010 album, entitled “Desolation of Eden” this band has always been a great inspiration for the influence of the genre taken by Desolation.
