Today’s review is of Australian Black Thrash Metal band Hell Machine’s new album.
This release has a truly appropriate title, for these two words capture the whole essence of this furious dose of old-school madness. Capturing all the speed and fury in the riffs that are necessary for greatness in this subgenre, the songs are topped by a ravenous vocal performance that will surely have you banging your head to this true satanic metal.
While classics such as Desaster may be identified as influences, you can also feel the distant similarity with newer acts such as Toxic Holocaust or Hellripper, though their sound has its necessary amount of uniqueness. Fans of rotten, straightforward and up to no bullshit metal will like this one. My personal highlights are “Devil Spawn” and “God Is Nowhere”.
I recommend this album to fans of Black Thrash Metal. My rating is of 8,5/10.
