Today’s review is of Canadian Grindcore band Bone Tower’s debut EP.
This release is extremely short, but extremely furious. Combining the most straightforward kind of Grindcore with elements of Noise and demented electronics, the band are able to express their anger here in unprecedented ways.
Fans of anything extreme, violent and macabre will enjoy this display of wrath. This release shows a promising future for a band that is fresh and that knows what they’re doing. Although it may induce headaches or dementia if you’re not into the most depraved musical subgenres, fans of these may like the EP. Any highlight may be futile, since a whole play here helps appreciate more the whole and may be easier given the track lengths.
I recommend this release to fans of Grindcore. My rating is of 8/10.
