Triptoy was born in 2009 in Valencia, an alternative rock group that conceives music as a journey and expresses it through the progressive development of its songs. Formed by Luis Morcillo, founder, voice and guitar, who later on will be joined by Charly Jiménez on drums and Aless Clemente on keyboards and choirs, and Felipe Madrid on bass, who completes his training in 2020. His experience psychedelic sound with influences from rock groups from the 70s and 90s such as Radiohead, Pink Floyd, Smashing Pumpkins, and Standstill, among others, stands out for its use of atypical structures and great timbral flexibility. In February 2016 they published their first EP, Sputnik, which they presented in several cities in Spain during 2017. In 2019 they began to record their first full-length, Túneles, produced and mixed by Raúl Abellán at The Mixtery between 2019 and 2020, with nine songs that speak of how we cyclically go through situations in our lives. Situations in which we want to get in, need to get out, or sometimes we can't find the way out.
