Medicine for a Nightmare: Part Two
is a collection of thoughts and expressions to be part of a larger
conversation. It contains essays, poetry, short stories, photography,
and other visual art from a unique selection of many characters from
many walks of life, age groups, and cultural backgrounds. It's presented
in a perfect-bound paperback book that comes with a 90-minute audio
companion cassette featuring exclusive instrumental music from 17
different artists. The core of this project is to embrace emotions and
impermanence while asking the question “what brings one to see another
day?”. The results aren’t what one may expect.
The publishing house Medicine for a Nightmare’s main intention is to
create community by sharing ideas and experiences with mixed-media
objects during an era of separation. It hopes to be a bridge and
facilitate connection, as we scatter across space and time.
