Inspired
by demons and primordial chaos, Harridan's cruelty merges with
ceremonial moments starred by melodic riffs that don't completely
discard the coldness and coarseness of a black metal that breathes
underground. Conceptually, alongside the occult, we find references to
Winter and HP Lovecraft, as well as a hefty dose of all those elements
required to create an excellent and chaotic black metal environment. «The
'Return God of the Dark' EP was recorded and mixed for the
Shub-Niggurath season. It contains 4 pieces of music from the period
1997-1999. It's very old material, my first guitar hymns», comments H-H. «This
is an introduction to the climate and musical path that Harridan took. I
can't honestly and openly say it's black metal, but I can definitely
call my music demon metal. Both lyrically and musically, it refers to
the practices of Demonism, Primordial Chaos, and worship of the Great
Ancients Azathoth, Cthulhu, Hastur, Shub-Niggurath, Nyarlathotep and
Yog-Sothoth. There are also excerpts from the Roman Ritual, which is
commonly known as the exorcism of a possessed soul. I acquired this
ritual in the original Latin, processed the entire text, reversed its
meaning and performed it myself, while recording everything on tape.» Tracklist: 01. Deamonomania 02. Winter Sabbath 03. Desroy Fucking Tiamat 04.Harridan
