REBEL’S END – SING TO THE DEVIL (Review by Varg The Mighty )

Today’s review is of Belgian Heavy Metal band Rebel’s End’s upcoming new album, out on September 24^th.

This album mixes Hard Rock and Heavy Metal in the usual way for new bands that pay tribute to the glory days of the 80s, but their implementation of newer elements in the likes of modern American Heavy Metal adds some layers to their songs in an interesting way.

Mixing the classic approach of the old-school masters with catchy choruses more reminiscent of the 90s in perhaps The Dead Daisies and with a faster attack similar to Iron Angel, they have created nice songs of which I highlight “Evil Eye” and “Outlaw”. Nonetheless, other songs seem to lack some special something to make them standout.

I recommend this album to fans of Heavy Metal and Hard Rock. My rating is of 8/10.
