Today’s review is of German Thrash Metal band Daily Insanity’s upcoming debut album, out on September 10th.
Capturing the belligerent essence of Teutonic Thrash in 12 conceptual tracks about the effects of war on the psyche, this band deliver some classic riffing with some touches of modern Sodom too, which are perfectly complemented with a vocal performance in the likes of Angelripper.
Although some of Sodom’s original malice has been substituted for a more epic approach (as observed in certain Warbringer songs), you may be reminded of “M-16” mixed with the band’s own style. Fans of modern and classic Thrash may enjoy this full-length alike, with the subtleties coalescing in tracks such as “Warchild” or “I Am The Mission”. The way the songs slowly flow from aggression to despair throughout the tracklist in a well-thought order is also worth noting.
I recommend this album to fans of Teutonic Thrash Metal. My rating is of 9/10.
