Today’s review is of Canadian Glam Rock band Turbosnake’s new EP.
These 6 tracks gloriously reminisce the musical excellence of Poison and Mötley Crüe’s best days, with an appealing rock n’ roll swagger and roughness mixed with a confident vocal performance in the likes of Vince Neil.
This EP really captures the same vibe as “Theatre Of Pain” or “Too Fast For Love” while also adding some personal touches. There are also some songs here that lean more to an old-school synth approach that could be easily compared to David Hasselhoff’s latest musical endeavours. All of this is tightly packed with powerful choruses that will incite you to sing along. This release has everything that was cool back in the 80s and delivers it in the best sonic way imaginable. My personal highlights are “Gas, Grass Or Ass” and “Pit Viper”.
I recommend this album to fans of Glam Rock. My rating is of 9,5/10.
