Today’s review is of Peruvian Thrash Metal band Maze Of Terror’s new album, out this August.
This release is a really straightforward and aggressive piece of Thrash influenced by extreme classics such as Kreator or Slayer, though adapted to the also absolutely violent South American style.
All the tracks have a pretty old-school feeling, and will probably induce dizziness and headaches of excessive headbanging, although some songs may seem sort of long considering their aggressive nature. Nonetheless, any fan of powerful Thrash Metal should check this out, especially if they’re into the particular approach of bands like Nuclear or Betrayed. My personal highlights are “Blood Horror Cult” and “Starbeast”.
I recommend this album to fans of Thrash Metal. My rating is of 8,5/10.
