DAILY INSANITY - Chronicles Of War - 10 September 2021

DAILY INSANITY was founded in 2015 in Berlin, Germany. As the band name suggests, the band has a soft spot for stories and events from everyday life. Most of the lyrics are autobiographical and tell of serious experiences, despair and inhumanity.   Their unique mixture of old school thrash metal, catchy melodies and gripping epic passages has not only produced one EP (“Conspiracy”, 2018) so far, the trio has already been on stage with acts like Tankard, Vader, Asphyx and many more. In 2021 DAILY INSANITY strikes back with the release of their long awaited brand new album. “Chronicles Of War” is a rough concept album about the violence of war and how it shapes people's psyche.   When a mother sees her child bleeding to death, when the hours in the bunker get longer and longer, when a soldier has to stand against his own people… War leaves emotional scars. Every fifth person in war zones is mentally ill. “Chronicles Of War” takes up this topic and tells of the many facets of psychological suffering caused by war.   In memory of those who lost their lives through no fault of their own… Welcome to the chronicles of war!
