REBEL PRIEST – LOST IN TOKYO ( Review By Varg The Mighty )

Today’s review is of Canadian Hard Rock band Rebel Priest’s upcoming new EP, out on August 13th.

Once again the band delivers powerful and straightforward Rock n’ Roll in the likes of early Iron Maiden mixed with the absolute confidence of Mötley Crüe and the classic and unwavering approach of Motörhead.

This release consists of 3 new tracks, each deserving to be a strong single in their own right, and a cover of Slash Puppet’s “When The Whip Comes Down” that remains pretty faithful to the original song. Much like on their previous albums, the band delivers old-school 80s Rock with a great amount of catchiness in their steady riffs, showing no fear as they approach Heavy Metal or Glam Rock in their compositions.

I recommend this EP to fans of Hard Rock, Heavy Metal and Glam Rock. My rating is of 9/10.
