About Confined To Oblivion Confined to Oblivion debuted in Montreal (Canada) in the spring of 2015. Our inspirations come mainly from Melodic Death Metal, Metalcore and Extreme Metal. After releasing our first EP "The Cycle" in 2016, we returned to the studio in 2018 to produce our second EP "When did we stop listening?". Between 2016 and 2019, we toured and performed a lot in Canada, sharing the stage with bands like Unearth, Darkest Hour, The Agonist and Beyond Creation. With the arrival of our new singer Jean-Charles Carrère, we took a darker musical path, creating more complex pieces introducing elements of black, death and even progressive. Our new album "Resumption", released on July 14, 2021, is the result of two years of collabor narrow ation. This album represents a very important step in the history of the group. | ||
