We bring back Embrace The Obsession, Horripilant's first EP!

On a musical level, another of the woes that this pandemic has brought us is the number of high-caliber works that have been lost in limbo. Aware of this, with BlackSeed Productions we have proposed to recover and promote as Satan commands Embrace The Obsession, the first Horripilant EP that the Madrid label published on September 1, 2020.

Founded in Valencia in 2017, this trio was created under the firm will to move away from the current fashions and trends of death metal to act “with a critical vision regarding what this genre was and should be”. That is, fortunately for the old school, Horripilant focused their efforts on everything that was created in the style in the late 80s and early 90s.

Thus, during the almost 20 minutes that this blow lasts, his ‘evil death metal’ sounds raw, real and without artifice, recalling the most celebrated and murderous moments of the early Sepultura, Morbid Angel, Possessed or Sadistic Intent.

Embrace The Obsession was released on 12 ”black LP and CD, and also on tape via the Italian label Unholy Domain Records. Obviously, you can already listen to this work on the usual channels and get your copy through BlackSeed Productions.
