VALEFAR – UNHOLY VISION (Review by Varg The Mighty)

Today’s review is of American Black Metal band Valefar’s new album.

These 12 tracks of sonic evil bring real old-school vibes of Raw Black Metal at its most common. Although most riffs sound pretty recycled, their use in these songs is pretty good, creating pretty dark auras.

If you enjoy permanently fast, badly recorded and occult Black Metal, then you may want to check this out. Any fans of true Unholy Black Metal would like this full-length, although if you don’t enjoy elitist Extreme Metal at its deepest point underground (surely near the gates of hell), then this album is not for you, even though the eerie ambience created may be apparent for anyone. My personal highlights of this wretched esoteric assault are “The After Life” and “A Letter From Darkness”.

I recommend this album to fans of Unholy Black Metal. My rating is of 8/10.
