Today’s review is of American Black Metal band Till’s debut album.
Continuing in the raw and pretty atmospheric approach present in the Eps, this full-length seems to improve the idea to produce old-school and wretched songs like “A Book Signed In Blood” or “Upon Gallows Hill”, much in the likes of Warloghe or Satanic Warmaster but with clearly particular traits of USBM.
This album skips between mesmerising passages with a heavy keyboard presence and completely distorted Black Metal at its foulest, or most of the times both at the same time. Once again, the band has delivered a fine opus that any fan of classic and hard to fathom Black Metal may enjoy.
I recommend this album to fans of Raw Black Metal and Atmospheric Black Metal. My rating is of 8,5/10.
