Originally from the state of Florida, Out Of Darkness is a very interesting and different proposal.
The band was created in late 2019 when former Iced Earth member drummer Brent “Muerty” Smedley and vocalist / guitarist Eric Barrios came together to create OOD.
Their music has been described as a heavy version of Queen, due to their ability to fuse different styles of heavy music, which helps them create the band's unique sound.
After cutting down his songs to seven and many hours of practice, it was time to record the material.
At the end of March 2020, the boys entered the studio to begin recording their debut album “Seize The Day”.

The first addition to the band was the sensational Bronzell Smith on bass. Bronzell was quickly followed by lead guitarist Cody Suchuski. And the last member was guitarist / vocalist Shawn Johnson.
The band made their live debut at the end of September 2020, with total success.
The band is currently working on their upcoming performances, as well as working on new songs.
