Innersphere is a melodic death metal band with elements of doom metal established in Pilsen, Czech Republic in the fall of 2015. The band has been active since the early days - mostly played across central Europe and the Balkans. Innersphere got many positive reviews after releasing the first full-length album Amnesia in 2018 when they also appeared at a prestigious Brutal Assault festival. The band played at “Within Destruction tour” in 2019 as main support for Nahum, playing 40 concerts in 6 countries including, for example, Goathell Metal fest. The year 2020 was planned similarly to previous years, but covid made the plans change... Innersphere self-released a debut EP in 2016, full-length album Amnesia in 2018 under Metalgate records, and a new full-length album Omfalos was released on 25th February 2021 under Slovak Metal Army. “Omfalos is our third studio record, 2nd full length I can say that the two years between the previous album and this new one makes a real difference - we pushed things further in all terms. The record feels compact, solid. We made nine songs plus an intro that sounds modern and powerful. Also, the albums is more progressive. Every track can offer various moods, motives, tempos and we can speak about a melodic album where we used keys to a bigger extent than before… By the theme, we can talk about an existential piece blend with many metaphors focused on our own existence. The album was recorded at the Barn Studio in May 2020, mixed and mastered by Dan Friml and we are pleased by the sound Dan created with us on this record… Who prefers varied, yet heavy and melodic music and also likes to listen to an album multiple times, it will definitely bring satisfaction… Good news for our fans - we are already working on new songs for our next album, and a couple of them are already finished.” Mira Litomericky, Innersphere |
