The new album of the German Black Metal band Zwiespalt has been released today.   "Distanz" is about the conflict between the need for isolation and the desire to reach for the stars. It's a journey into solitude, through storms in withered fields, getting lost in the rising mist of autumnal forests and ending in the icy cold and desolation of winter. It's about burned-in memories of a time long gone that still creep through your mind.
