Sacrifix - World Decay 19

During the pandemic era, Frank Gasparotto (ex-Anthares, ex-Goatlove, ex-Kamboja, atual Masmorra), begun his new project, an old school thrash metal band called Sacrifix. The name was taken from an horror movie, "The Gate" and the logo was hademaded by Frank.

The first single, "Sacrifix", was released in december 2020, in febuary they released their second song "Escape" which can be viewed in youtube.

In January 21 they signed with Thrash Or Death Records, a brazilian independent label foccused on thrash and death metal and "World Decay 19" was released in march 21. The album was recorded, performed and produced by Frank himself at North Greenhouse Studios in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

Marco Nunes was encharged to mix the album, he has a vast experience and have been working with a lot of brazilian metal bands as legendary Genocidio and Chaosfear.

"World Decay 19" delivers 8 tracks full of pure, raw and wild old school Thrash Metal content, main influences are: Sodom, Slayer, Testament, Exodus, Megadeth and Kreator, the subject of the lyrics are no different of what we could expected: war, violence, social matters and all kind of things peculiar to this genre.

Frank invited his oldtime friends from Infamous Glory: Kexo on bass and Gustavo Piza on drums. Sacrifix remain as a powertrio for now but they’re looking a second guitar player.

The main reason of Sacrifix existence is to pay a tribute to the roots of true thrash metal, with no blastbeats, no low tune songs, no keybords, no accoustic guitar, no lyrical voices, no pickups, only raw, dirty and cruel thrash metal as it was made before.

Also, Sacrifix do not intend to be just "one more" band among thousands of others in the Thrash Metal segment in our country, but rather to show how to do it in the most intense, vigorous and violent way possible while staying true and respecting their origins, no frills or stardom.
