Necktwister helps metal artists flush away Corona-hangover!
Necktwister will inject new possibilities into the (Belgian) metal scene as of May 27, 2021.
As a new Artist Growth Agency, Necktwister wants to support metal artists in their growth and help flush away their Corona-hangover. Necktwister will offer a wide range of services, giving them the opportunity to grow and develop themselves in a world battered by the coronavirus.
Now that our cultural landscape could use a boost, two fanatic metal lovers want to launch an agency that will help metal bands grow... How? By offering a range of services to bands to initiate, support and continue that growth. Necktwister will function as a music label, distributor, artist service provider, artist coach/manager, event promotor, booking agent and more.
According to founder Kurt Van Camp, this is what Belgian artists need. Too often, talented artists are struggling because they lack certain knowledge, skills and/or contacts. This is where Necktwister wants to bridge the gap, as their support can be of great help to these talented artist.
The brainchild of Kurt Van Camp and Tim de Ridder will offer its services exclusively to artists who play "metal". All subgenres are welcome, from Glam to Black and Death to Hardcore.
Originators Kurt and Tim have been around the metal scene for about 20 years. Kurt might be better known as "Mr Moshpit" or "De Moshpit". Tim used to destroy stages as frontman of Before He Shot Her, The Seventh, a.o. They both gained experience by hosting small and medium-size events, mainly in the greater Mechelen area. Kurt has been reviewing for respected e-zines for years.
