Today’s review is of Italian Speed Metal band Iron Jaws’ new album, out on May 28th.
This album is a furious frontal assault of fast and heavy Metal with no space for bullshit. The tracks included remind highly of American Speed and Thrash Metal in the likes of Overkill or Sacred Reich or especially Metal Church (something that seems pretty obvious given the covers of them they have done), although they also sound influenced by other bands like Exciter.
The release sure has some catchy and enjoyable songs such as “Satan’s Bride”, “The Brawl” and “Grandier’s Damnation”. Their mix of catchy Heavy Metal and aggressive Thrash Metal lends great results once again, surely impressing all fans of old-school metal with no trace of modern experimentation.
I recommend this album to fans of Speed Metal and American Thrash Metal. My rating is of 8,5/10.
