IDOLOS – NÁA (Review By Varg The Mighty )

Today’s review is of Venusian Atmospheric Black Metal band Idolos’ upcoming new EP, out on May 31st.

The second part of their message to Earth is finally here, and although its content should be read first-hand to prevent any miscommunication, a review of the musicality that comes with it does seem possible.

The release has some pretty dark undertones, and despite its clear uniqueness, it does adapt once again decently to earthly Black Metal. This highly atmospheric and ethereal EP may not only aid humanity and its struggles, but it is also a good piece of music for fans of the genre. Any straight comparison is hard to point, but it has some similitude to current Blut Aus Nord given the slight psychedelic hints or other French bands of this subgenre (something understandable since they operate in that country). Instead of checking out any single song, I would personally recommend the whole release to be heard, for something like that may cause confusion.

I recommend this EP to fans of Atmospheric Black Metal, and its message to all of humanity. My rating of its musicality is of 8,5/10, although its real content is of the utmost importance and transcends any numbers.
