Hear hard rockers Electric Haze’s debut album, ‘Get In Line’
Northern Swedish group Electric Haze’s debut LP, Get In Line, is out today (May 28th) via Idle North Records on CD, vinyl, and digital formats. The album trails 2016’s self-titled debut EP, which generated over 165,000 streams on Spotify alone.
Electric Haze comments:
“‘Get In Line’ is an album that touches on issues of mental health and exclusion, draped in bold confidence, paying tribute to the rock legends who paved the way.
“The album is a journey — from the energetic, jaunty opener ‘Succuba,’ through the eccentric, dramatic ‘Cavern of Pain’ all the way to the heavy, gloomy, yet cathartic, end station ‘Cryin.’”
Premiered via Metal Insider (Read full feature AT THIS LOCATION), the album is currently available on all digital/streaming platforms. To avail the album on digital/streaming platforms, visit HERE. Find vinyl, CD, merch, and digital orders HERE (Bandcamp).

Electric Haze took its formation in 2014 after friends Johan (Drums) and Tommy (guitar) moved the 400 km from Övertorneå down to Umeå, where they met the brothers André (bass) and Anton (Sång). The immediate chemistry resulted that them quickly writing a couple of songs that they took out on stages in and around Umeå.
Their debut single, “Master & Slave,” saw the light of day in 2016 and was followed by the songs “Endlessly” and “(Shut Up) Shuffle and Deal.” The singles paved the way for the self-titled EP released in-house on digital platforms later that year. They attracted attention in several blogs and web magazines, which gave a fantastic start for a relatively newly formed band. The interest in Electric Haze has been quite massive on Spotify alone: the EP has generated over 165,000 streams to date. With six strong rock songs in their luggage, Electric Haze went out on the road with live gigs across the country.
After establishing themselves as a new rock band with live gigs and an EP in the back, they started working in 2018 on their first full-length album, Get In Line. They booked time at Kapten Studio in Umeå and recorded nine heavy songs with lyrics about depression, anxiety, and feeling left out and misunderstood. The first song, “All I Ask for,” is about the abuse of power. It was followed by “Cavern of Pain,” a riff-rock song in the Dio spirit transformed into a complex ballad.
When the songs were recorded, Anton, who works as a music producer on a daily basis, took it upon himself to complete the album. Careful follow-up work to find the right sound began. Two years later, on November 20th, the first single Succuba was released. The song is based on an old folk belief about a female demon who visits men in his dreams and seduces them against his will. At the same time as all this is happening, the local record label Idle North Records signed Electric Haze in the spring of 2021 for the debut album, Get In Line.
