Eddie Thespot, announce a new single & video

Virtuoso guitarist Eddie Thespot is preparing a new single and video that he will announce shortly!

Meanwhile, let's look at the video of “The Rising Phoenix”, a song composed, produced and recorded by Eddie at his “Asgard Studio” at the beginning of 2020, which sees Andy Martongelli (Arthemis, Ellefson band) as co-producer and Enrico Marchiotto on keyboards. The song was mixed and mastered by Alessio Garavello at Rogue Studios in Wembley.

“The Rising Phoenix” was shot by Elia Turra of Fisheye Studio at Andy Martongelli's Diablo Studio.

Eddie Thespot (alias Edoardo Lamacchia) is an Italian classical and electric guitarist from Mantua.

He started playing the classical guitar at the age of 10. He competed in many national and international prizes, always placing in the first three positions. In 2014 he graduates with honors at the Conservatory of Music “L. Campiani” in Mantua under the guidance of the M° Eros Roselli.

During his classical studies, the passion for rock music grows and Eddie plays in some local bands, but is after the graduation that he decides to get the specialization in modern music. He begins to study with Andy Martongelli and Alex Stornello, becoming a qualified MMI teacher.

He is now composing some instrumental tracks for his solo project as “The Rising Phoenix”, released in 2020, and he is the brand new guitarist of the pirate themed band “Black Corsair”. He is the former guitarist of the bands “Chronosfear”, with which he released the homonymous album for Underground Symphony Records, and “Venus Mountains”.

Eddie teaches guitar at the MMI Mantova and figures in the MMI International Online Registry of Music Tutors.

THE RISING PHOENIX

“The Rising Phoenix” represents a very special goal to me: it is my very first instrumental piece. I wrote it during a very hard period of my life, while I was facing many challenging moments, but with positive vibes and self-consciousness I got over that. In “The Rising Phoenix” you can feel it. It is a sort of power metal track with many middle-east influences, that creates a climax bringing to a very explosive ending, as a sign of rebirth, just like a Phoenix from its ashes.
