Today’s review is of Spanish Melodic Hard Rock band Eco’s new album.
This release may appeal mostly fans of Pop Rock, for especially in the vocal performance it approaches Spanish Pop a lot. Unfortunately, the instrumental side of it isn’t very present in the mix, with the drums for example being almost non-existent, concealed by the vocals.
Despite some occasional solos or melodic riffs like on “Cantares”, the songs tend mostly towards 80s Pop, with their Rock side almost always disappearing. Even though this album may surely not be enjoyed by fans of Metal, at a national level the band may probably have some degree of fame in the near future.
I recommend this album to fans of Melodic Hard Rock and Pop Rock. My rating is of 7/10.
